I was seriously late the game on this storm. But I was never out of the game. I had missed a few of the other tornados that afternoon in Northern Yuma County. Coming from south to north I had to position myself correctly. Chaser Convergence was also in full swing so there were not may open areas to choose from.
For best pics of a Tornado and to be safe about it a storm such as this was moving North by Northeast... strategically, you want to be to the south east, southwest for the best light... Behind the RFD (Rear Flank Downdraft) It's all about timing, and I honestly didn't think it would produce a tornado til it was well west of my location. That was going to be the wrong guess... Though when I went due north of Wray I had a good viewing point but not in the safest location as you see.
I got lucky this day as...In my opinion, I found a perfect view, looking due south southeast. I ended up on the northwest side of the rotation. Dangerous yes...but this will eventually give me one excellent view of this tornado and all her glory.
Staying as safe as I could I wouldn't bail till it was about a mile away then I would head north again to a safer / better viewing position.

Greetings Everyone, I haven't posted many new pics since last chase season and the 2020 Severe Weather Season is upon us. Looking for our first set of storms in the coming weeks and I'll be streaming live and of course some of the best storm photography one could ask for.
2020 Update...I've been revamping how I do things. One of those things is to go back and correct how I did my post processing of images. Several Years of over Colorizing over Saturation Adding color... etc. Yes I'm guilty of doing so and I have been going back and replacing thousands of images in hundreds of sets over these past few months here on Flickr my Fine Arts America Site.
The May 7, 2016 Colorado Tornado Event was by far one of my favorite chase days to date. I was able to capture the full genesis of a tornado. From birth to death. It was a quest of mine to do this in a photography medium. Epic severe weather structure, like once in a lifetime structure to capture. But post processing was a nightmare. The images came out well ... Defined but over colored over saturated etc.
Instead of replacing the images this will be a whole new set with a few hundred new images that I didn't post on the original set back in 2016. I've thought about re-editing these images for a long time and they are finally done. No Altercations what so ever. No Added Light, Color, Contrast.
I've brought them directly from RAW. Simply the way I should have done it in the first place!

Through Community Crowdfunding, what a sight it was to see Fantasy Lovers from all genres and walks of life come together..a HUGE goal reached in such a small amount of time...the Goal? To provide a Free Avatar head to the masses..those curious to walk or peer into the Non-Human Side of Second Life.
This community has been so kind and welcomeing to me, a person who months ago almost left SL due to bullying...by chance I messaged Mud to ask a question about his heads. It was his kindness over what I presume now may have seemed silly questions, that had me curious to stay. I walked away that day, joining the community as a lurker, and with a new head. Through that community I was
welcomed with open arms, accepted, and not judged for wanting to just vibe and create art. I was able to laugh, and relate to adults again.

This is my first BLOG post for Bespoke officially. I couldn't of picked a better item to blog first. I know I could of gotten it for free at the event.....BUT what if..we told more people about it. Spread the word.You might just find a spark thats been missing and meet some amazing people along the way.

Now heading south on Hwy 10, this storm cell was building and moving southeast. Meaning I had to catch up to it. Luckily, it was only moving about 10mph so I would see some good strong development on the back side of this storm

Εκκλησία του Παντοδύναμου Θεού
I
Τα πάντα είναι αλληλένδετα, αλληλοεξαρτώμενα,
έτσι, το περιβάλλον του ανθρώπου είναι προστατευμένο.
Υπό την αρχή αυτή, συνεχίζει κι επιβιώνει.
Σ’ αυτό το περιβάλλον, ο άνθρωπος μπορεί ν’ αναπαραχθεί, να ευδοκιμήσει.
Ο Θεός χρησιμοποιεί τον κανόνα αυτόν για να διαφυλάξει τη ζωή των πάντων,
διασφαλίζοντας την ύπαρξή τους με τις πράξεις Του τις θαυμαστές.
Με τον τρόπο αυτόν, παρέχει για τα πάντα.
Και με τον ίδιο τρόπο, παρέχει για όλη την ανθρωπότητα.
Ο Θεός δημιούργησε τους ουρανούς, τη γη και τα πάντα για την ανθρωπότητα.
Δημιούργησε το περιβάλλον του ανθρώπου κι έφτιαξε έναν εξαίσιο κόσμο.
Ο Θεός χρησιμοποιεί ό,τι δημιούργησε για να προστατεύσει και να διατηρήσει
το σπίτι της ανθρωπότητας που Αυτός δημιούργησε.
Έτσι Αυτός παρέχει για τα πάντα και τον άνθρωπο.
II
Ο Θεός είναι ο Άρχοντας των κανόνων του σύμπαντος,
των κανόνων που διέπουν την επιβίωση των πάντων.
Πράττει έτσι ώστε το σύμπαν και τα πάντα να ζουν αρμονικά,
ώστε να μην χαθούν ή ξαφνικά να εξαφανιστούν.
Αυτό γίνεται ώστε ο άνθρωπος να μπορεί να υπάρχει
και να ζει σ’ αυτό το περιβάλλον υπό την ηγεσία του Θεού.
Οι κανόνες που διέπουνε τα πάντα βρίσκονται υπό την εξουσία Του
κι η ανθρωπότητα δεν μπορεί να επέμβει επάνω τους ή να τους αλλάξει.
Μόνο ο Θεός, μόνο Αυτός γνωρίζει αυτούς τους νόμους.
Μόνο ο Θεός, μόνο Αυτός, τους ελέγχει από ψηλά.
Ο Θεός δημιούργησε τους ουρανούς, τη γη και τα πάντα για την ανθρωπότητα.
Δημιούργησε το περιβάλλον του ανθρώπου κι έφτιαξε έναν εξαίσιο κόσμο.

Καθετί ζωντανό διέπεται απ' το θεϊκό κανόνα Του.

Η ζωή που του έδωσε ο Θεός, ακολουθεί τους δικούς της νόμους επιβίωσης.
Δεν χρειάζεται καμιά μεταβολή ούτε βοήθεια από τον άνθρωπο, αφού έτσι ο Θεός παρέχει για τα πάντα.
Ο Θεός δημιούργησε τους ουρανούς, τη γη και τα πάντα για την ανθρωπότητα.
Δημιούργησε το περιβάλλον του ανθρώπου κι έφτιαξε έναν εξαίσιο κόσμο.

Ο Θεός λέει:« Ο Θεός δημιούργησε όλα τα όντα και θέσπισε όρια γι’ αυτά, και ανάμεσά τους φρόντισε όλων των ειδών τα ζωντανά πλάσματα. Ενώ φρόντιζε όλα τα είδη των ζωντανών πλασμάτων, Αυτός επίσης προετοίμασε διαφορετικές μεθόδους επιβίωσης για τους ανθρώπους, έτσι βλέπεις ότι τα ανθρώπινα πλάσματα δεν έχουν μόνο ένα τρόπο για να επιβιώσουν. Επίσης, δεν έχουν μόνο έναν τύπο περιβάλλοντος επιβίωσης. Μιλήσαμε πιο πριν για το ότι ο Θεός προετοίμασε διάφορους τύπους τροφής και πηγών νερού για τους ανθρώπους, πράγμα το οποίο είναι κρίσιμο για να επιτρέψει τη συνέχιση της ζωής του ανθρώπινου γένους στη σάρκα. Ωστόσο, ανάμεσα σ’ αυτό το ανθρώπινο γένος, δεν στηρίζονται όλοι οι άνθρωποι στα σιτηρά για την συντήρησή τους. Οι άνθρωποι έχουν διαφορετικές μεθόδους επιβίωσης λόγω των διαφορών στα γεωγραφικά περιβάλλοντα και τα εδάφη. Οι μέθοδοι επιβίωσής τους έχουν προετοιμαστεί όλες από τον Θεό. Έτσι, δεν ασχολούνται όλοι οι άνθρωποι με τη γεωργία. Δηλαδή, δεν παίρνουν όλοι οι άνθρωποι την τροφή τους καλλιεργώντας τη γη.... »
