Jugoslovenski Aerotransport (JAT) - Yugoslav Airlines
YU-AHD is coming in to land on Riem’s runway 07. This Caravelle was frequently noted at Riem during the 1960s and early 1970s.
Delivered to JAT on 31 May 1963, w/o on 11 September 1973 near Titograd (modern-day Podgorica), crashed into Mount Maganik on approach due to radar malfunction and ATC error. All 41 passengers and crew were killed. (Sources: rzjets.net, Wikipedia)

Desde allí se puede ir a observar la abundante vida salvaje de la Charca y disfrutar de la refrescante sombra del Palmeral.

This was shot on our Iceland Winter Wilderness photo workshop.
There had been a storm the day before, so the ocean was very rough with huge waves crashing onto the shore. I wanted to get close to this large chunk of ice (about knee high) that was basically too big to be pushed further ashore.
In order to get the waves in the background at a decent size, I needed to move as close as possible to the ice, risking to get a serious soaking. Many people underestimate the power of the ocean here, and on this year's trip two people lost their equipment to the waves. The moment you move close to or even into the ocean, it can become very dangerous indeed.
Timing was crucial - I needed to be ready to run like hell. On this year's trip I ripped a muscle in one of my calfs doing that; my backpack was too heavy and the sand too soft - a lesson learned. The first few days of our trip I had to walk with crutches.
For this shot used a 6 stop ND filter and the cleverly designed LucrOit filter holder. Without it, I wouldn't be able to use any filters on my 14-24 lens.

Το χωρίο αυτό περιγράφει την πρώτη πράξη του Θεού στην αρχή της δημιουργίας και την πρώτη μέρα του Θεού στην οποία υπήρχε ένα απόγευμα και ένα πρωί. Αλλά ήταν μια εξαιρετική μέρα: ο Θεός άρχισε να ετοιμάζει το φως για όλα τα πράγματα και, επιπλέον, διαχώρισε το φως από το σκοτάδι. Εκείνη τη μέρα, ο Θεός άρχισε να μιλά και ο λόγος Του με τη εξουσία Του ήταν πλάι–πλάι. Η εξουσία Του άρχισε να ξεχωρίζει από όλα τα πράγματα και η δύναμή Του εξαπλώθηκε σε όλα τα πράγματα σαν αποτέλεσμα του λόγου Του. Από αυτή τη μέρα και μετά, δημιουργήθηκαν όλα τα πράγματα και κράτησαν γερά χάρη στον λόγο του Θεού, στην εξουσία του Θεού και στη δύναμη του Θεού και άρχισαν να λειτουργούν χάρη στον λόγο του Θεού, στην εξουσία του Θεού και στη δύναμη του Θεού. Όταν ο Θεός εκστόμισε τις λέξεις “Γενηθήτω φώς”, έγινε φως. Ο Θεός δεν ξεκίνησε κάποιο εγχείρημα. Το φως εμφανίστηκε ως αποτέλεσμα του λόγου Του. Αυτό ήταν το φως, το οποίο ο Θεός ονόμασε μέρα και από αυτό εξαρτάται η ανθρώπινη ύπαρξη ακόμα και σήμερα. Επειδή το πρόσταξε ο Θεός, η υπόσταση και η αξία του δεν έχουν αλλάξει ποτέ και αυτό δεν εξαφανίστηκε ποτέ. Η ύπαρξή του αποδεικνύει την εξουσία και τη δύναμη του Θεού και διακηρύσσει την ύπαρξη του Δημιουργού, και επιβεβαιώνει ξανά και ξανά την ταυτότητα και τη θέση του Δημιουργού. Δεν είναι απροσδιόριστο, ούτε απατηλό, αλλά είναι ένα αληθινό φως, ορατό από τον άνθρωπο. Από τη στιγμή εκείνη και μετά, σ’ αυτόν τον άδειο κόσμο στον οποίο “η δε γη ήτο άμορφος και έρημος· και σκότος επί του προσώπου της αβύσσου”, παρήχθη το πρώτο υλικό αγαθό. Αυτό το πράγμα είναι αποτέλεσμα των λέξεων από το στόμα του Θεού και εμφανίστηκε στην πρώτη πράξη της δημιουργίας όλων των πραγμάτων από τη εξουσία και τον λόγο του Θεού. Λίγο μετά, ο Θεός πρόσταξε να ξεχωρίσει το φως από το σκοτάδι… Όλα άλλαξαν και ολοκληρώθηκαν χάρη στον λόγο του Θεού… Ο Θεός αποκάλεσε αυτό το φως «Μέρα» και το σκοτάδι «Νύχτα». Από τότε, το πρώτο απόγευμα και το πρώτο πρωινό δημιουργήθηκαν στον κόσμο που ο Θεός ήθελε να δημιουργήσει και ο Θεός είπε ότι αυτή ήταν η πρώτη μέρα. Every year on/in the Non Storm Season... I go back & re-edit the masters. This year I wanted to get this set done since I was way over everything... To much color, to much contrast, there were flaws in the panoramas... The orginal set can be found here on Flickr

Fixed Everything. Normal Color, no added saturation or contrast. No Extra's. You're seeing the Raw images. Slight adjustment with light but that was about it.. Also Fixed the flaws in the panoramas!...

I have this uncanny knack to get to the right place at the right time when it comes to storms... This one was another spot on encounter. I decided to eyeball this storm and put away the radar and other electronics and just chase use the old way.
It had been a few weeks since any good photographic storms. We had Severe Thunderstorm warnings counties south of Phelps county (Located in South Central Nebraska) that afternoon.
Raced this cell and I was now in position to capture this beauty. Just a few miles north of Elm Creek on Hwy 183. This place has the best view over the valley. Worst cell phone reception ever.. even with a 4g booster I couldn't push out a signal.

689 Princes Street: This home was built in approximately 1875 by Abraham Joseph Evans (1839-1912) who was an architect and builder from Swansea, South Wales, who came to Bruce County in 1861. It is one of the most authentic, well-kept examples of the Second Empire style of architecture in the Municipality of Kincardine. The ornate exterior features decorated gables in the roof, a belvedere, bay window and front portico as well as rows of dentils which highlight all three stories, and the ornate iron cresting work on the top of the tower.
