Devocional | Se debe saber al recibir al Señor: ¿Qué es la encarnación?

Dios Todopoderoso dice: “La ‘encarnación’ es la aparición de Dios en la carne; Él obra en medio de la humanidad creada a imagen de la carne. Por tanto, para que Dios se encarne, primero debe ser carne, una carne con una humanidad normal; esto, como mínimo, es el requisito previo más básico. De hecho, la implicación de la encarnación de Dios es que Él vive y obra en la carne; Dios se hace carne en Su misma esencia, se hace hombre”.

“El Dios encarnado se llama Cristo y Cristo es la carne vestida con el Espíritu de Dios. Esta carne es diferente a cualquier hombre que es de la carne. La diferencia es porque Cristo no es de carne y hueso; Él es la personificación del Espíritu. Tiene tanto una humanidad normal como una divinidad completa. Su divinidad no la posee ningún hombre. Su humanidad normal sustenta todas Sus actividades normales en la carne, mientras que Su divinidad lleva a cabo la obra de Dios mismo”.

Se puede ver que la encarnación de Dios significa que Su Espíritu se materializa en una carne que tiene a la vez una humanidad y pensamiento normales, mediante este cuerpo obra y habla entre el hombre. Aunque Dios encarnado se aparece como una persona común, tiene tanto una humanidad normal como una divinidad completa, es decir, esencialmente es Dios, así que solo Él puede expresar la verdad, salvar a la gente y hacer la obra de Dios mismo.

Ahora el Señor ha vuelto por medio de la encarnación, es Dios Todopoderoso. Esto cumple las palabras del Señor Jesús: “Vosotros también estad preparados, porque el Hijo del Hombre vendrá a la hora que no esperéis” (Lucas 12:40).

Librairies and litterature have always been a great source of inspiration for me. Story of O, Hurt me, The link, The student .... don't know which one to pick. Erotic hesitation. Is'nt here any magic to guide me ?

Challenge At Noshinima's Neighborhood: The Photo Studio Of My City Block #NoshsHoodChallenge3

Fashion photography is a big deal in New York City. I knew I had to design a studio deticated to all of our passions. It is the reason why we are on Flickr. ;)

Note: I have also decided to tag the people that were tagged by others after they uploaded their own entries for the challenge. This is to remind you that you have been nominated to take the challenge of doing a shoot at my park by your friends, that have already taken the challenge.

This is the third of my challenges taking place at my brand new, bigger parcel, also named Noshinima's Neighborhood. This setup was a nightmare to work on, and after weeks of work and a lot of lindens spend, I have finally came up with a new challenge for all of you and it is now ready for visitors. This is a new concept I am showcasing on my Flickr, where I challenge 50 great artists to do a photo shoot in the backdrop I created at my home sim.

For the third challenge, I created a large New York style city block, complete with all the different types of retail store outlets you would find at in your typical downtown scroll along downtown. There are clothing stores, supermarkets, pizzerias flower shops and all types of different settings that can be potentially found in just one city block. This also comes with a fairly realistic street view complete with cars and trucks. I am challenging the names tagged in this post to do a shoot within my city block anywhere they like and however they like.

Rules and details:

1) I (Noshinima Midas) tag 50 names of great photographers on Second Life. Said photographers that choose to participate in the challenge can come over to my parcel, Noshinima's Neighborhood (link below) and do an image anywhere in my city. You will be allowed two hours to use any posestands or props that you would like to add and are allowed to bring any friends you want to join you in your shoot. You are also allowed to make the shoot as safe or as adult as you like. The only rule is that you do the shoot within the city block. Take your time to have a look around to see where in the block would make a great place for your image.

2) Upload the finished image onto Flickr and place the hashtag #NoshsHoodChallenge3 on either the title or the description.

3) YOU MUST TAG 10 PEOPLE THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE TAKE THIS CHALLENGE ON YOUR UPLOAD OF YOUR SHOOT! NO MORE, NO LESS! I have had several people during previous challenges that have not followed this simple rule so I am making it ALLCAPS to get the point across. Link them to this post and explain the rules to them as well. They must also tag 10 of their friends that they would like to see do this challenge if they themselves choose to participate as well. You must tag people that are actual active photographers on Second Life. Tagging pages dedicated to advertising a store, tagging real life photographers and tagging empty profiles does not count and is against the rules. Also, although you are permitted to do this if you desire, tagging me and tagging yourself will not count towards the number of 10 photographers you are tagging.

“La naturaleza del hombre es completamente diferente a Mi esencia; esto se debe a que la naturaleza corrupta del hombre tiene su origen completamente en Satanás y la naturaleza del hombre ha sido procesada y corrompida por Satanás. Es decir, el hombre sobrevive bajo la influencia de la maldad y fealdad de Satanás. El hombre no crece en un mundo de la verdad o en un ambiente santo y además no vive en la luz. Por lo tanto, no es posible que la verdad se posea de manera innata dentro de la naturaleza de cada persona y, además, no se puede nacer con una esencia que tema y obedezca a Dios. Por el contrario, son poseedores de una naturaleza que resiste a Dios, desobedece a Dios y no tiene amor por la verdad. Esta naturaleza es el problema del que quiero hablar —la traición—. La traición es el origen de la resistencia de cada persona a Dios. Este es un problema que sólo existe en el hombre y no en Mí. Algunos harán esta clase de pregunta: ya que todos ellos están viviendo en el mundo del hombre, ¿por qué todos los hombres tienen una naturaleza que traiciona a Dios pero Cristo no? Esta es una pregunta que se os debe explicar con toda claridad.

La existencia de la humanidad se basa a su vez en la reencarnación del alma. En otras palabras, cada persona gana una vida humana de la carne cuando su alma se reencarna. Después de que el cuerpo de una persona nace, esa vida continúa hasta el límite más grande de la carne, es decir, el momento final cuando el alma deja su caparazón. Este proceso se repite una y otra vez con el alma de una persona yendo y viniendo, y yendo y viniendo, manteniendo así la existencia de toda la humanidad. La vida de la carne también es la vida del alma del hombre y el alma del hombre sostiene la existencia de la carne del hombre. Es decir, la vida de cada persona procede de su alma; no es su carne la que originalmente tuvo vida. Por lo tanto, la naturaleza del hombre procede de su alma, no de su carne. Sólo el alma de cada persona sabe cómo ha sufrido las tentaciones, la aflicción y la corrupción de Satanás. La carne del hombre no puede saber esto. En consecuencia, sin darse cuenta, la humanidad se está volviendo más y más inmunda, malvada y sombría, mientras que la distancia entre el hombre y Yo se hace cada vez más lejana y los días de la humanidad se vuelven más y más sombríos. Las almas de la humanidad están todas en las garras de Satanás. Discover this spectacular 4400 square foot mural downtown on the alleyway walls between Talbot Street and the Moore Street parking lot. On the east wall, the orange and red colours feel hot, like sunrise into midday; on the west wall, the green and blue shades feel cool, comparable to late afternoon and sunset. The mechanical and digital forms that tower over the trees on both sides of the alley indicate human intervention into the natural environment, almost akin to alien spaceships. The hot wall connects with the early stages of industrial development when nature was exploited without much thought given to the long-term consequences. The cool wall indicates a shift in thinking, an opportunity to find a sustainable way for human beings to engage with nature. Will we continue to be like aliens on earth, destroying our surroundings, or will we find a new balance? In a way, the mural feels hopeful. We have done the hot work of development and re-shaping nature to our purposes through technology, and now we need to do the cool work of making this less destructive. Sunrise, sunset – if we do not find ways to live in balance with each other and the environment, are we risking ecological catastrophe?

One of the most intense elements of the image of Kavala is its citadel. While it stands on the top of the peninsula of Virgin Mary (Panagia) it is tied up in a harmonious total with the houses of the homonymous historical district that extended all around it in tiers. It is interesting to watch the course of the fortress in time.

The name “Christoupolis” first appears in texts of the beginning of the 9th century. The change of the city’s name should not be linked to its abandonment, but to its reorganisation as a fortress of the Byzantine state. The role of Christoupolis as a fortress is particularly emphasized in Byzantine texts: «the Christoupolis fortress as on the one side was very powerful thanks to its construction... on the other side as a bolster lies down… it leads through Thrace, and thirdly as it is onshore and it could easily enter into alliances” (Ioannes Cantacuzenus, 1,4 Bonnae edition). The citadel (fortress) standing dominatingly on the top of the hill of the peninsula, at a height of approximately 70 metres, was reconstructed upon the remnants of the older Byzantine castle, in two phases: first, at the beginning of 1425 in view of the imminent attack of the Venetian fleet, the Ottomans built the “new walls”, obviously the parts that had been destroyed during the siege and occupation of Christoupolis (1390-1391). Secondly, in approximately 1530 the walls were repaired once again, at a larger extent and more assiduous intervention. At this time, the exterior surrounding walls of the citadel were built, with the addition of which the fortress was extended considerably and increased its defensive puissance. More specifically, the exterior surrounding walls of the citadel must have been built during the years 1530 -1536, at the era where Suleiman the Magnificent decided to enforce its defence in several coastline positions (e.g. Thessaloniki – the White Tower). The exterior surrounding walls linked the citadel with the half destroyed then perimetrical walls of the peninsula and also fortified the lowest side of the hill, towards the harbour. The two entrance gates of the citadel are found here also: the First (in the place of an older Byzantine gate), is found at the end of today’s Kapsali street and is equipped with a «zematistra» (scalding spot – from where the defenders threw boiling oil onto the enemies).

"Laytown racecourse is an extremely unique track as it is Ireland's only horse racing event run on a beach under the Rules of Racing. Laytown Racecourse is a seven-furlong straight track that is on a tidal beach. Racing takes place on just one day in September each year, with the races all run over either six or seven furlongs. Until the 2015 meeting, races commenced via a flag start, but stalls have now been introduced.

People travel far and wide to witness the spectacle of horse racing on the beach in Ireland, with crowds in excess of 5,000 in attendance every year. As the tide recedes in the morning of race day, the race course is quickly set up allowing for six races of between six furlongs and one mile. The majority of racegoers watch the action from an elevated field above the strand which is set up for the day with temporary marquees which act as the weigh room, the jockeys’ room, bars and restaurants."

The Guild Halls

Opposite the city hall, on both sides of the Grote Markt Antwerp, you will see a row of beautiful guildhalls.

These houses were very typical in the 16th and 17th century.

Every house was connected to a certain guild that was built to show off their power, status and wealth.

That’s why you see on top of the guildhalls those amazing golden statues that are related to their specific guild.

The largest guildhall is named the ‘Pand van Spanje’, which means the house of Spain. You will recognize it at the chevalier on its horse that is just ready to kill the dragon that is climbing up. The Horseman is Saint Joris.

Truth to be told, only a few guildhalls are original. House numbers 24, 38 and 40 are authentic. They have been renovated to show their original beauty again.

The other houses are actually replicas from houses that were there before. These were built in the 19th and 20th century and were based on old paintings and testimonies. Some houses were based on houses that used to be elsewhere in the city.

All the guildhalls on the Grote Markt Antwerp are built in a Renaissance style with a few Gothic elements like the pinnacles, that are so typical for Belgium and the Netherlands.
