Located in Hong Kong’s North District and right next to Shenzhen’s Yantian District, Sha Tau Kok was designated as part of the Frontier Closed Area in 1951. Since then, Sha Tau Kok has been accessible only to individuals with a closed area permit. Back in the days when Sha Tau Kok was closed to non-residents, visiting the border town also required a guarantee from a local resident. As it begins to open gradually, Sha Tau Kok has become a great choice for weekend getaways.

The first phase of the opening of Sha Tau Kok began in June 2022, followed by the second phase starting January 2024. Visitors can board a kaito ferry to explore Sha Tau Kok and enjoy the area’s beautiful scenery, unique attractions and local delicacies, either independently or through local tours. De las Escrituras podemos ver que el Señor vendrá a expresar las palabras del Espíritu Santo a las iglesias en los últimos días y que las ovejas de Dios oyen Su voz y son capaces de reconocer y recibir al Señor mediante Sus palabras. Ahora que muchas personas en Internet dan testimonio de que el Señor ha regresado y ha pronunciado nuevas palabras, y muchas personas que anhelan la aparición del Señor, a través de buscar e investigar, han determinado que son la voz de Dios, y han acogido al Señor y han sido arrebatadas ante Dios. ¿Quiere escuchar las nuevas palabras de Dios? Challenge At Noshinima's Neighborhood: The Photo Studio Of My City Block #NoshsHoodChallenge3

Fashion photography is a big deal in New York City. I knew I had to design a studio deticated to all of our passions. It is the reason why we are on Flickr. ;)

Note: I have also decided to tag the people that were tagged by others after they uploaded their own entries for the challenge. This is to remind you that you have been nominated to take the challenge of doing a shoot at my park by your friends, that have already taken the challenge.

This is the third of my challenges taking place at my brand new, bigger parcel, also named Noshinima's Neighborhood. This setup was a nightmare to work on, and after weeks of work and a lot of lindens spend, I have finally came up with a new challenge for all of you and it is now ready for visitors. This is a new concept I am showcasing on my Flickr, where I challenge 50 great artists to do a photo shoot in the backdrop I created at my home sim.

For the third challenge, I created a large New York style city block, complete with all the different types of retail store outlets you would find at in your typical downtown scroll along downtown. There are clothing stores, supermarkets, pizzerias flower shops and all types of different settings that can be potentially found in just one city block. This also comes with a fairly realistic street view complete with cars and trucks. I am challenging the names tagged in this post to do a shoot within my city block anywhere they like and however they like.

Rules and details:

1) I (Noshinima Midas) tag 50 names of great photographers on Second Life. Said photographers that choose to participate in the challenge can come over to my parcel, Noshinima's Neighborhood (link below) and do an image anywhere in my city. You will be allowed two hours to use any posestands or props that you would like to add and are allowed to bring any friends you want to join you in your shoot. You are also allowed to make the shoot as safe or as adult as you like. The only rule is that you do the shoot within the city block. Take your time to have a look around to see where in the block would make a great place for your image.

2) Upload the finished image onto Flickr and place the hashtag #NoshsHoodChallenge3 on either the title or the description.

3) YOU MUST TAG 10 PEOPLE THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE TAKE THIS CHALLENGE ON YOUR UPLOAD OF YOUR SHOOT! NO MORE, NO LESS! I have had several people during previous challenges that have not followed this simple rule so I am making it ALLCAPS to get the point across. Link them to this post and explain the rules to them as well. They must also tag 10 of their friends that they would like to see do this challenge if they themselves choose to participate as well. You must tag people that are actual active photographers on Second Life. Tagging pages dedicated to advertising a store, tagging real life photographers and tagging empty profiles does not count and is against the rules. Also, although you are permitted to do this if you desire, tagging me and tagging yourself will not count towards the number of 10 photographers you are tagging.

Discover this spectacular 4400 square foot mural downtown on the alleyway walls between Talbot Street and the Moore Street parking lot. On the east wall, the orange and red colours feel hot, like sunrise into midday; on the west wall, the green and blue shades feel cool, comparable to late afternoon and sunset. The mechanical and digital forms that tower over the trees on both sides of the alley indicate human intervention into the natural environment, almost akin to alien spaceships. The hot wall connects with the early stages of industrial development when nature was exploited without much thought given to the long-term consequences. The cool wall indicates a shift in thinking, an opportunity to find a sustainable way for human beings to engage with nature. Will we continue to be like aliens on earth, destroying our surroundings, or will we find a new balance? In a way, the mural feels hopeful. We have done the hot work of development and re-shaping nature to our purposes through technology, and now we need to do the cool work of making this less destructive. Sunrise, sunset – if we do not find ways to live in balance with each other and the environment, are we risking ecological catastrophe?

I (the artist) think the intention of "COSMOS" is to communicate the unity of the never-ending providence of nature's cycles of life and eternal cycles of the universe. I strive for spaces that have an airy feeling, that incorporate air and wind within them. One day, when I took a walk in the early morning when the rice flowers were blooming, a number of white thread-like spider webs were stretched across the leaves. Morning dew was sprinkled on the strands of the web. The sun had just risen, imparting the rice paddy with a silvery sparkle. This experience awakened my consciousness of nature's blessing-the changing seasons, the cycles of nature, my own being. And I directed my hands into motion hoping to infuse this concept into my work just as if I were composing a poem.

Tο αρχιτεκτονικό αυτό “τζιβαερικό” είναι προσωπικό επίτευγμα του σεμνώς εικονιζομένου πατρός Αθανασίου Κούτσια εξ αρχής έως πέρατος. Ενός παναξίου Έλληνος ιερέως του οποίου το πράγματι τιμημένο ράσο σπάνια θα το δεί κανέις να μην έχει το ανέμισμα της αεικινησίας όπως σ'αυτά τα ελάχιστα δευτερόπλεπτα στην διάρκεια των οποίων μου έδωσε ευχή να τον φωτογραφίσω.

Το θρησκευτικό κτίσμα του 1903,πρίν λίγα χρόνια ήταν σε κακό χάλι εξωτερικά με επιχρίσματα να καλύπτουν την ωραιότητα της πέτρινης υφής και εσωτερικά με μυριάδες προβλημάτων να θέτουν σε κίνδυνο το εκκλησίασμα αλλά και τα κειμήλια του ναού.

Αυτός το οραματίστηκε,αυτός με θαυματουργικό τρόπο,βρήκε τα κεφάλαια εκ του μηδενός και αυτός με απεριόριστη προσωπική εργασία διότι είναι και “επαγγελματίας” τεχνίτης καταπιανόμενος και καταφέρνοντας τα πάντα,το έφερε εις πέρας πρό διετίας παραδίδοντάς το στις επόμενες γενεές εδραίο τε και κεκοσμημένον εις δόξαν του Τριαδικού Θεού και των προστατών της ενορίας Πρωτοκορυφαίων Αποστόλων Πέτρου και Παύλου.

Respuesta: Respecto a “Toda Escritura es inspirada por Dios”, primero tenemos que conocer el trasfondo de la palabra de Pablo. Cuando Pablo escribió las cartas a Timoteo, solo existía el Antiguo Testamento. El Nuevo Testamento no se había recopilado todavía. Y solo había docenas de cartas que se guardaban en las iglesias. Así pues, la palabra de Pablo se refiere al Antiguo Testamento, porque los israelitas solo consideraban como Escritura el Antiguo Testamento. El Nuevo Testamento se creó después del 300 d. C. En aquel momento, los líderes de esas iglesias se reunieron. Pensaban que los últimos días estaban cerca, que debían reunir las palabras de Jesús y las cartas de los apóstoles, recopilarlas en un libro, como el Antiguo Testamento, y dárselo a todas las iglesias. Así pues, reunieron las cartas que habían escrito los discípulos y apóstoles de Jesús. Finalmente, mediante el estudio y la confirmación, seleccionaron 27 cartas como el canon del Nuevo Testamento. Las epístolas paulinas, por ejemplo, surgieron de la obra de un hombre; todas fueron resultado del esclarecimiento del Espíritu Santo y se escribieron para las iglesias, y fueron palabras de exhortación y aliento para los hermanos y hermanas de las mismas. No fueron palabras habladas por el Espíritu Santo; Pablo no podía hablar en nombre del Espíritu Santo ni era profeta, y, mucho menos, tuvo las visiones que tuvo Juan. Sus epístolas se escribieron para las iglesias de Éfeso, Filadelfia, Galacia, y otras” (‘Relativo a la Biblia (3)’ en “La Palabra manifestada en carne”). “No todo en la Biblia es un registro de las palabras habladas personalmente por Dios. Devocional cristiano de hoy | Solo aquellos que tienen hambre y sed de justicia pueden recibir al Señor

Al ver que los desastres son muy graves, ¿usted, el que anhela el regreso del Salvador, está esperando con ansiedad recibir al Señor y ser arrebatado al reino de los cielos lo antes posible? ¿Pero sabe? Mientras espera desesperadamente Su regreso, algunos ya lo han recibido. ¿Quieres saber quiénes son ellos?

El Señor Jesús dijo: “Bienaventurados los que tienen hambre y sed de justicia, pues ellos serán saciados” (Mateo 5:6).

Dios dice: “Dios dirige Sus palabras a toda la humanidad. Si estás dispuesto a leerlas, Él te esclarecerá, pero si no es así, Él no lo hará. Dios esclarece a los que tienen hambre y sed de justicia, y a los que lo buscan”. Las palabras de Dios nos dicen que Dios se aparece a aquellos que tienen hambre y sed de justicia. Entonces, ¿qué es tener hambre y sed de justicia? Es tener sed de la verdad y deseo de escuchar la Palabra de Dios. Al igual que cuando el Señor Jesús apareció y obró, había muchas personas como Natanael, la mujer samaritana y Nicodemo, etc. que estaban sedientas de la verdad, y como resultado, reconocieron que Él era el Mesías venidero y obtuvieron Su salvación por la verdad expresada por Él. Sin embargo, los escribas y fariseos eran arrogantes y se aburrían de la verdad, y a pesar de que escucharon las palabras del Señor, no las tomaron en serio, e incluso condenaron y se resistieron a Él, al final no solo no recibieron al Mesías, sino que también fueron castigados por haberse opuesto a Dios.

Así que, en los últimos días, en cuanto al recibimiento al Señor, debemos tener un corazón de la búsqueda de la verdad. El Señor Jesús dijo: “Aún tengo muchas cosas que deciros, pero ahora no las podéis soportar. Pero cuando Él, el Espíritu de verdad, venga, os guiará a toda la verdad, […]” (Juan 16:12-13). El Apocalipsis profetiza siete veces: “El que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias” (Apocalipsis 2-3). Se puede ver que el Señor vendrá a expresar todas las verdades necesarias para la salvación de la humanidad. Por lo tanto, cuando oímos a alguien testificar que el Señor ha regresado y ha declarado nuevas palabras, debemos buscar e investigar humildemente con un corazón que tiene sed y hambre de justicia. Si estamos seguros de que ellas son la verdad, las declaraciones de Dios, con que aceptemos y obedezcamos a Él, podremos dar la bienvenida a Su regreso.
