La lectura de la Biblia es una obligación diaria para los cristianos, además de indispensable en la senda hacia la verdad y la madurez en la vida espiritual. El Señor Jesús dijo: “Escrito está: ‘No solo de pan vivirá el hombre, sino de toda palabra que sale de la boca de Dios’” (Mateo 4:4). Es evidente que leer las palabras de Dios con frecuencia y valorarlas con el corazón es obligación de todo cristiano, pero ¿cómo debemos leer la Biblia para recibir la guía del Espíritu Santo y lograr resultados positivos? Esta es una cuestión de suma importancia para nosotros. Es probable que todos hayamos leído la Escritura de la siguiente manera. A veces somos capaces de recibir el esclarecimiento y la guía de Dios y de entender Su voluntad y Sus exigencias; nuestro espíritu se conmueve y tenemos fe y determinación para practicar las palabras de Dios en la vida diaria. Cada vez nos gusta más asistir a reuniones, orar y leer la Escritura y durante ese tiempo, además, maduramos en la vida espiritual. Sin embargo, algunas veces no disfrutamos la lectura de la Biblia y no percibimos el esclarecimiento ni la iluminación del Espíritu Santo. Sólo entendemos el significado literal de los pasajes bíblicos y nos falta sentido de la voluntad y las exigencias de Dios; no sabemos defender las palabras de Dios en la vida diaria y no maduramos espiritualmente. En ocasiones puede que hasta nos entre sueño leyendo la Biblia y cada vez tengamos menos ganas de hacerlo, de asistir a reuniones y de orar. Esto puede ser muy confuso. Si leemos la Biblia como siempre, ¿por qué se dan dos resultados totalmente distintos? ¿Cómo podemos leer la Biblia para obtener resultados positivos? A fin de recibir luz a partir de la lectura de la Biblia, comprendiendo estos tres principios podemos acercarnos más a Dios y recibir Su esclarecimiento y guía con facilidad.

World Bee Day occurs each 20th of May www.apimondia.org/world-bee-day.html These are female Osmia bicornis, red mason bees. They are one of the 79 species of solitary bee that occur in Ireland. We also have 21 species of bumblebee plus honey bees.
Solitary bees often nest close together in the ground or holes in brickwork, or in man made insect hotels as here & the white bee block behind. These are on my kitchen windowsill. Fascinating to watch the bees as I'm washing up. I have 4 insect hotels in the garden, potter wasps use them too.
Each female bee goes about her own individual life. This is not the case with honey bees & bumblebees which are social insects with a queen & workers. Solitary bees overwinter as a pupa then the adult bees emerge the following spring. They mate & the male dies. The female then lays a series of eggs inside these tubes. She leaves each egg with enough pollen for the grub to eat when it hatches & she seals up each chamber with mud that she gathers. Hence the name mason bees. This is repeated along the length of the tube, then she seals off the end with more mud & that's her life's work over.
Other solitary bee species are leaf cutters & use bits of leaf that they bite off & carry to divide the chambers & seal the entrance. Hopefully I'll have those using my bee hotels during the summer months. They are a bit later hatching.

Honfleur is a commune in the Calvados department in Normandy en.normandie-tourisme.fr/normandy-tourism-109-2.html in northwestern France. It is located on the southern bank of the estuary of the Seine across from le Havre and very close to the exit of the Pont de Normandie. Its inhabitants are called Honfleurais. It is especially known for its old, beautiful picturesque port, characterized by its houses with slate-covered frontages, painted many times by artists, including in particular Gustave Courbet, Eugène Boudin, Claude Monet and Johan Jongkind, forming the école de Honfleur (Honfleur school) which contributed to the appearance of the Impressionist movement. The Sainte-Catherine church, which has a bell tower separate from the principal building, is the largest church made out of wood in France. The first written record of Honfleur is a reference by Richard III, Duke of Normandy, in 1027. By the middle of the 12th century, the city represented a significant transit point for goods from Rouen to England. Located on the estuary of one of the principal rivers of France with a safe harbour and relatively rich hinterland, Honfleur profited from its strategic position from the start of the Hundred Years' War. The town's defences were strengthened by Charles V in order to protect the estuary of the Seine from attacks from the English. This was supported by the nearby port of Harfleur. However, Honfleur was taken and occupied by the English in 1357 and from 1419 to 1450. When under French control, raiding parties often set out from the port to ransack the English coasts, including partially destroying the town of Sandwich, in Kent, England, in the 1450s. At the end of the Hundred Years' War, Honfleur benefited from the boom in maritime trade until the end of the 18th century. Trade was disturbed during the wars of religion in the 16th century. The port saw the departure of a number of explorers, in particular in 1503 of Binot Paulmierde Gonneville to the coasts of Brazil. In 1506, local man Jean Denis departed for Newfoundland island and the mouth of the Saint Lawrence. An expedition in 1608, organised by Samuel de Champlain, founded the city of Quebec in modern day Canada. After 1608, Honfleur thrived on trade with Canada, the West Indies, the African coasts and the Azores. As a result, the town became one of the five principal ports for the slave trade in France. During this time the rapid growth of the town saw the demolition of its fortifications on the orders of Colbert. The wars of the French revolution and the First Empire, and in particular the continental blockade, caused the ruin of Honfleur. It only partially recovered during the 19th century with the trading of wood from northern Europe. Trade was however limited by the silting up of the entrance to the port and development of the modern port at Le Havre. The port however still functions today. Βασιλεία του Θεού
I
Τα πάντα είναι αλληλένδετα,
αλληλοεξαρτώμενα,
έτσι, το περιβάλλον του ανθρώπου
είναι προστατευμένο.
Υπό την αρχή αυτή,
συνεχίζει κι επιβιώνει.
Σ’ αυτό το περιβάλλον,
ο άνθρωπος μπορεί ν’ αναπαραχθεί,
να ευδοκιμήσει.
Ο Θεός χρησιμοποιεί τον κανόνα αυτόν
για να διαφυλάξει τη ζωή των πάντων,
διασφαλίζοντας την ύπαρξή τους
με τις πράξεις Του τις θαυμαστές.
Με τον τρόπο αυτόν,
παρέχει για τα πάντα.
Και με τον ίδιο τρόπο,
παρέχει για όλη την ανθρωπότητα.
Ο Θεός δημιούργησε
τους ουρανούς, τη γη
και τα πάντα για την ανθρωπότητα.
Δημιούργησε το περιβάλλον
του ανθρώπου
κι έφτιαξε έναν εξαίσιο κόσμο.
Ο Θεός χρησιμοποιεί ό,τι δημιούργησε
για να προστατεύσει
και να διατηρήσει
το σπίτι της ανθρωπότητας
που Αυτός δημιούργησε.
Έτσι Αυτός παρέχει
για τα πάντα και τον άνθρωπο.
II
Ο Θεός είναι ο Άρχοντας
των κανόνων του σύμπαντος,
των κανόνων που διέπουν
την επιβίωση των πάντων.
Πράττει έτσι ώστε το σύμπαν
και τα πάντα να ζουν αρμονικά,
ώστε να μην χαθούν
ή ξαφνικά να εξαφανιστούν.
Αυτό γίνεται ώστε ο άνθρωπος
να μπορεί να υπάρχει
και να ζει σ’ αυτό το περιβάλλον
υπό την ηγεσία του Θεού.
Οι κανόνες που διέπουνε τα πάντα
βρίσκονται υπό την εξουσία Του
κι η ανθρωπότητα δεν μπορεί
να επέμβει επάνω τους
ή να τους αλλάξει.
Μόνο ο Θεός, μόνο Αυτός
γνωρίζει αυτούς τους νόμους.
Μόνο ο Θεός, μόνο Αυτός,
τους ελέγχει από ψηλά.
Ο Θεός δημιούργησε
τους ουρανούς, τη γη
και τα πάντα για την ανθρωπότητα.
Δημιούργησε το περιβάλλον
του ανθρώπου
κι έφτιαξε έναν εξαίσιο κόσμο.
Ο Θεός χρησιμοποιεί ό,τι δημιούργησε

III
Καθετί ζωντανό διέπεται
απ' το θεϊκό κανόνα Του.
Σε καθετί ζωντανό δόθηκε ζωή
όταν το δημιούργησε ο Θεός.
Η ζωή που του έδωσε ο Θεός,
ακολουθεί τους δικούς
της νόμους επιβίωσης.
Δεν χρειάζεται καμιά μεταβολή
ούτε βοήθεια από τον άνθρωπο,
αφού έτσι ο Θεός παρέχει
για τα πάντα.
Ο Θεός δημιούργησε
τους ουρανούς, τη γη
και τα πάντα για την ανθρωπότητα.
Δημιούργησε το περιβάλλον
του ανθρώπου
κι έφτιαξε έναν εξαίσιο κόσμο.
