Robert the Doll, a haunted doll belonging to the late artist Robert Eugene Otto (Robert was given to Otto when Otto was a child in 1906, and Otto bestowed his own first name on the doll). Show a bit of respect when visiting this casemate in the musuem; the spirit living in Robert is mischievous, but harmless if you DO NOT behave disrespectfully or contemptuously. If you do...well, the very least your photographs may all be erased. Martello Gallery-Key West Art and Historical Museum is housed in the East Martello Tower near the Key West Airport. The Quarterdeck flags and well deck fragments from USS Ponce (LPD 15) meet the bell from USS West Virginia (ACR 5) and the mast from USS West Virginia (BB 48). The Grand Canyon Railway originated in 1901 when the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway completed a line from Williams to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon Village. Today the line maintains several historic engines and cars, and runs day trips to the canyons aboard the historic diesel locomotives. The steam engines are maintained but not regularly run. Engine 539 originally ran for 40 years in the Pacific Northwest, and was eventually acquired by the Grand Canyon Railway in 2007. It is a "2-8-2" locomotive, meaning two leading wheels (one on each side), eight power wheels (four on each side), and two trailing wheels under the cab (one on each side). Williams, Arizona.
