"Sunsets are just little glimpses of the Golden streets of Heaven....."
157/365: I think yesterday was the first time I was out with my camera around sunset hours. Sunset time coincides with the kids bedtime routine...and they sort of come first ;)
I hope everyone has had a fabulous day!
PS - I'm a bit behind and on my way to visit all my fabulous contacts! My internet is sloooooow today!

"There is no glimpse of the light without walking the path. You can't get it from anyone else, nor can you give it to anyone. Just take whatever steps seem easiest for you, and as you take a few steps it will be easier for you to take a few more." Mildred Lisette Norman

The town has few parking places! The only place available near the town was about 1/2mile away and I snapped this after parking and walking back to town. -
All 3 of us spotted it from the car window the lone tree nestled amongst orange grass shrouded in mist. It was a photo opportunity and we had to stop.
Stopping abruptly on a misty busy road wasn't a wise idea so we carried on anxiously looking back as our precious find disappeared into the haze.
We eventually found a safe pull in, grabbed our gear and trudged back along the road to see if the fleeting glimpse of the lone tree was worth all the effort.
Treecreepers, I find, are tricky to spot and photograph being one of our most well camouflaged small birds as well as fast movers. I had brief glimpses of this one spiralling up and around a massive Oak tree in a Hampshire wood.
Thank you all for your kind responses.
This leaf detail only caught my eye when I got a glimpse of it lying on the floor in Bute Park in Cardiff. Once a glimpse by Maximo Park seems suitable. I loved the amazing colour combinations as the leaf decays.

Grand Canyon, Arizona
Standing on the south rim on a stormy afternoon, we glimpse the Colorado River below as it settles into its passage through the canyon’s inner gorge.
I only took the one shot looking down at Ullswater, for some reason the focus doesn't seem quite right.. but it's good enough for the album. :-)

My heartfelt thanks again to all my wonderful Flickr friends for your kind messages of support for Martin & myself. He's already feeling slightly better on the new treatment regime to help his breathing.
Photo 60/100 my 100 x photos this year will be of foliage: so woodland scenes, individual trees, wild/garden plants and fallen leaves 🍃🍁🌳🍂
