This amazing giant fig is known locally as the Temple Fig although its common name is White Fig in line with other Ficus virens variations.
The tree stands sentinal in a cow paddock at Eungella, just out of Murwillumbah, NSW.
One does wonder that no one has sought to protect this ancient tree. Similarly impressive trees on the Atherton Tableland in North Queensland are protected and are in fact tourist attractions as indeed could this tree be.

This was taken in Safety Harbor, FL. Didn't intend to wind up in Safety Harbor. Silly me plugged the wrong address for a restaurant in the GPS. Beautiful little town in the Clearwater area. A few good restaurants as well.
This tree, thought to be over 1000 years old, was the highlight of the 1/2 mile hike up to the Sky Cars. Taken at Trees of Mystery, near the Klamath River.

It has been the tradition of M. Lhuillier every year since 2002 to put up a giant Christmas tree at the Fuente Osmeña as its contribution to the Christmas celebration in Cebu City.
Considered to be the tallest in Cebu, the 115-foot tall Christmas tree is designed with materials made of kogon, bamboo, native bells, amakan, nigo and even brooms.The tree’s five layers are adorned with salakot, native fans and parols made of ginit.
At the peak of the tree rests the image of Señor Sto. Niño standing on top of the globe. Some 3,000 light bulbs bring the tree to life.
