This gigantic Water Oak tree stands as a testimonial to time. All through these woods there are large tall trees and a lush canopy still standing after the hurricanes and storms of years ago. In Paynes Prairie, just east of Lake Wauburg. A forest primaeval of trees and fauna.
Lahaina Banyan Court Park is a public park located at the corner of Front Street and Canal Street in the town of Lahaina, Hawaii. Commonly called Banyan Tree Park, Sheriff William Owen Smith planted an Indian banyan tree in the courtyard square in 1873 to memorialize the 50th anniversary of the first American Protestant mission in Lahaina. The banyan tree has become the largest banyan tree in Hawaii, and one of the largest in the United States. Its extensive trunk and aerial root system now covers 0.66 acres.

Coast redwoods (Sequoia sempervirens) in Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park, near Crescent City, California
This is probably one of my best adventure for 2009. My friend took me to this very mystical place where you can find the largest tree in Negros. According to the folks living there, it is estimated to be around 1500 years old. It is a sight bigger than life. Thank you Bird and Jerry for bringing me there!
These 2 icicles, which look very much like the fangs on a Saber-toothed Tiger, mystified me because of their light brown color until later I looked at the rust-like stain on the side. I think the icicles must have absorbed some tree sap during their growth.

On the road to Wimberly, Texas sits this old shed which contains an incredible antique store. The sheer amount of great stuff is a treasure to behold. Someday I intend to go there and lay money down for the "License for Prostitution" that they have for sale. Never know when it will come in handy.

I tried a first time vertical panorama shot with my IPhone 7S here just south of the Botanic Gardens Bookshop at the Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney on September 17th 2017.
This is indeed a monster tree for this species and is being managed by gardens horticulture staff to keep Armillaria sp. or Honey Fungus at bay, always a problem in popular Botanic Gardens such as Sydney.
