Hey Flickr,
Its been about 15 weeks since my last post here. I know I've had these extended breaks from photography and social media in the past, but this was different. The last few weeks have been tumultuous to say the least. Starting from a major health scare for my dad to sitting one of the most challenging academic exam I've had to sit so far, which I did yesterday. I'm glad that this is over... for now at least, till life throws in another challenge that is.
So the story above equates to me spending no time behind the lens. Well, I've not been able to spend any time with my little boy and the wife let alone the camera. So now that this over, I plan to catchup on both these fronts.
I've been admiring your work during this quiet time and have seen some of you take your work to a new level which obviously inspires me to get out and push the limits. Hopefully I can.
I don't have any new shots to come back with, so here is one I've had processed and sitting in my vault for quiet some time now.

The title stems from the G20 summit Brisbane is hosting next month. The race is on to present the best of the city to the top world leaders in 3 weeks time.

My hair is getting silly long now and i am so enjoying it especially in this colder weather. Starting to get better at styling it although it rapidly disappearing from the front that could cause a few problems in the future but I can always go for fringe pieces or toppers.
Such a cosy outfit this turned out to be have to admit ive got the jumper on tonight with a shorter black skirt and tights and his slippers! not a great look from the ankles down lol
The 2 Class 60s - 96 and 21 get the empties on the way back to Liverpool. They do run 2 locos together sometimes ,the 'spare'
driver seemed to be asleep in the nearside seat. It was listed as 2 locos on RTT.

About the Ebook
As a self-challenge for December 2021 a photo was taken every day up to Christmas Day (sometimes multiple photos a day) featuring 1/6 scale dioramas, Elf on the Shelf and Santa to celebrate the upcoming holiday. For any collector of smaller scaled items this is a must for any fan of Christmas in general.
Jazz was on my lap a little while ago getting the second of his three physical therapy treatments today. I just said to him, “You are such a pretty comma good dog.” That was to make sure he understood I wasn’t saying he was just a pretty good dog.
He has been an exceptionally patient patient, and he's healing well. He won't be himself until at least September 6th, when we return to the surgeon for the final checkup. I hope by then he's easily walking on his left leg.

Once we reached the "Gabel", where the route via the SE ridge joins the Rothorngrat, we were facing the crux of the route - the Bienerplatte just above this abyss - in the bitterly cold shadow. We did the climbing via "moving together" (in German "am laufenden Seil"), which worked brilliantly.
The crew of the Gary Switcher has both pans up as they pump up the 803 and get ready for a days work at the Gary Station in December 1976.
Couldn't resist getting these clouds in, despite the heat haze. Taken from the old Route 66 overbridge near Mesita, NM, a BNSF stack train keeps several hundred trucks off the freeways as an eastbound freight is tied up in a siding to let the faster guys through. Sept 27 2015.
This is an elementary school. It is important to get off to a good start! See comments for more about this school.

December 11 - Name a holiday tradition that has been passed down
from generation to generation in your family.
December, and even November sometimes, meant getting the tree and ornaments out. A time to pick favorites and even break out new ones.
It also meant cleaning to make way for the tree and decorations. :-(
Which is not too far off this year either as we still need to make space for the tree!
Don't normally let the camera get to close but on this occasion I am quite happy with the result. Hope you do not mind my indulgence.
slight change in temperature its getting somewhat chilly in the evenings so what better way t stay warm other than putting some clothes on. Than to snuggle into a faux fur coat,
This is from last nights boudoir set the whole aim was to see how convincing the lace front wig was.
Think I might actually be getting the idea of how to dress like the average woman in the street.
Think this looks ok and I felt comfortable and feminine.so not a bad result.
think I will need a new pair of boots soon these ones are so worn now I fear they wont last much longer.
You know you are doing this far to often when things start to wear out.

I have written the description for this 3 times and my computer keeps glitching and erasing it. I'll make this short and sweet this time since I can't trust my computer again. I was pushed by Doug (tagged to the right) to capture water drops. Took me awhile but I finally got my lighting and flash situated and this happened. I'm pretty happy with it, and glad I didn't have to go out into the cold to capture it ;) Hope you like it Doug!

Just a stone’s throw away from Binalong Bay, ten minutes drive north along Tasmania’s Bay of Fires, is Cosy Corner. To say this little stretch of coast is one of my favourites, would be putting it lightly. From crystal blue waters to orange lichen covered rocks folding over one another along the shoreline, this place is an underrated slice of heaven.
Back in May I experienced the distinct joy of shooting some beautiful reflected colours, after one of the most intense sunrises I’ve ever seen, along this beach as the waves sprinted across the sand. Truly nothing quite like it.
Well, perhaps with one exception, the joy brought by cloning out the head of Alex Wise somewhere in the background of this shot…
