"Heeeyyyyy, Myra! What's shakin'?"
"Eitan, you dolt! We're studying for our AP tests! Out, out, ouutttttt!"
"No reason to be treatin' me like that! Uncool! Especially after I helped you get that A in your Calc. test!"
"I don't have time for this, Eitan! If I get a freakin 2 on my AP Chem test tomorrow, you are sooooooo going to get it! Scram!"
"Yeesh, you're a mess when you're stressed...it's kind of cute."

So I've got AP testing this next couple of weeks, with AP Chem front-and-center tomorrow! :D I should be studying but I figure it's best to relax than cram and stress myself out even more...I'll get what I get. Frankly, I care more about APUSH (Friday) and APENG (next Wednesday). Thus, I won't be as active here for awhile. Wish me luck!
and if you have something to say, and have enough courage to be called alive, say it right away into my face or shut up forever and be forgotten.
map in marrakesh is simply not readable and understandable. tons of small roads which are name-less. getting lost is part of the trip.
I was inspired by Happiness in a Bite' s get well cupcakes - her's were definitely prettier - but these were for my dear friends husband who just came home from the hospital after surgery - tried to keep them manly but just couldn't help myself by putting on the heart - probably would have been better if I left off, but hey girl stuff is easier, LOL
in a different venue. This is the outfit I wore out: boots, stretch jumper, turtleneck sweater, white Leggs pantyhose, nylon slip, metal belt and my short red and black wig.
Walked past this carpark entrance in Sydney last month and liked the light shining through the bars. This morning as I am looking at it, I've hot the music from Get Smart the TV series playing in my head.
...but is that the bus or the driver? Voel Coaches Leyland Olympian / Northern Counties K580 RRH negotiates a speed hump in Presthaven Sands Holiday Park while on service PS1 to Rhyl. Within a few weeks of this photo being taken, Voel ceased to operate into the Holiday Park after stiff competition from ARRIVA, and have curtailed their service to run from Rhyl Bus Station to Prestatyn Bus Station nowadays instead. The bus was new to East Yorkshire (EYMS).
Before attending a social event, I believe it's imperative to get into a proper frame of mind and a nice sauvignon blanc helps greatly. It was also nice to feel the warmth of a fireplace on a brisk October afternoon at Happy Hour. Cheers to my many sweet friends! ❤
I was still getting used to this camera, so I accidentally turned the exposure up a bit - some of the photos are a bit over-exposed!
I'm getting closer to the Preikestolen.
Preikestolen or Prekestolen, also known by the English translations of Preacher's Pulpit or Pulpit Rock, is a famous tourist attraction in Forsand, Ryfylke, Norway. It consists of a steep cliff which rises 604 metres (1982 feet) above Lysefjorden, opposite the Kjerag plateau, with an almost flat top of approximately 25 by 25 metres (82 by 82 feet).
The old local name of the site is Hyvlatonnå (English: Planned Tooth). The name Prekestolen (without the i) was coined around the year 1900 when the local tourist organisation, Stavanger Turistforening wanted to promote the site for trekking. The "i" was added later to concord with Nynorsk, the official local form of Norwegian, and the site is now known both locally and officially as "Preikestolen."
The cliff was formed during the ice age, approximately 10,000 years ago, when the edges of the glacier reached the cliff. The water from the glacier froze in the crevices of the mountain and eventually broke off large, angular blocks, which were later carried away with the glacier. This is the cause of the angular shape of the plateau. Along the plateau itself there continues to be a deep crack. Due to these cracks, the plateau will at some point fall down, but all the geological investigations have revealed that this will not happen in the foreseeable future, and geologists have confirmed the safety of the plateau.

Bucks are going into rut around here already. Mating season runs generally from October - December. These two were getting aggressive with each other in the midst of today's heavy snowstorm. I watched them out my window spar with each other for about 15 minutes until they moved off. (6 miles west of Buena Vista, Colorado)
I photowalked with Danita Clark, specifically because she wanted to work on getting photos of sunset at the Santa Monica Pier. The low tide helped, too.
I asked for her to stand still in this photo. :-)

Like the rest of the world, we're living under stay-at-home orders -- for good reason! The directive, in our state, allows for outdoor activity such as walking for exercise. This hill is a challenge for Janice, but she seeks it out!
