I was done for the day and about to seat-belt my camera in the back seat when this guy (15 feet from the parked car) started it's little Chickaree song and demanded I set up the tripod and take its picture.
And here I captured it about to get the jump on lunch.
Even though we have to be careful we can at last we all get a little bit closer and I'm looking forwards to playing Squash again and being able to get other people to take them photos of me instead of relying on selfies.

Finally took the time to try out my new D7200.
I also added a couple more SB-600 and tried out the Creative Light System of Nikon. Of course, I rather still use the RF triggers more than the CLS, but not bad to test out the 3 SB-600 Flashes and the D7200's features.
Did this all by myself, and sadly, I can't find my wireless remote shutter release, had a broken tripod so I used a chair for my D7200 - in short, everything was against me in getting the right composition and if you look at my face, it is soft focused.
But in the end, I am happy to finally play with my D7200... And got to test my SB-600's... as well as the CLS (though I will revert back to RF triggers).
This may not do my gear justice as its first shot with them, but I will definitely get better shots from here on out.
*One of my SB-600's I ordered is misfiring... sadly, I have to return one of them...*

I have more than enough short skirts, but I always get a buzz putting on a new one for the first time. I've been lucky enough to get a couple of nice ones from the online site Shein recently :-)
The countdown to BCNY has begun and now I'm playing beat the clock... despite all my good intentions to get started early- life just always seems to get in the way! lol. I wish all my fellow procrastinators the best of luck in your preparations!! I can't wait to meet you all there!

I'm the Lady of the House so I tell maid Fabienne that I expect her to do all work in the kitchen and that I'm certainly not going to do anything. Now don't look so simple-minded and get on with it; I haven't got all day!
