I do love bees. The seem to have a personality. They also have little ways of communicating with you. While many insects will simply fly away when you get near, bees will often carry on their chores but indicate with a wave of their legs that you are getting too close.
Shooting at the Canadian Raptor Conservancy, my friend John of Insight Imaging, got right up close to get his shots...
Getting lost in the Nature you could find yourself, suddenly.
You could also figure out "what" are you actually, what you like, which is your path, which is your aim.
Somewhere, lost in nowhere, you can find your "where".
And that's sublime.

With lockdown lasting seemingly for ever and to add to that my recent injury where I fractured my ribs i'm surprised I haven't turned into a cough potato. But despite everything I keep reasonably active even if it's just going for a decent walk each day about half-an-hour. But I need to lose a couple of Kilos as some of my nicest clothes don't fit any more. So my big challenge this summer is to get fit lose some weight and have plenty of yummy sex lol. I well when I feel safe to tug pull and stretch I can start on all that housework and gardening I've been afraid to do.
Christmas related items are filling the shelves of more and more stores.

The thunder on these was pretty enjoyable. After I moved down to the car I experienced one of those flash-booms, where the bolt is so close to you that the sound reaches your ear while the strike is still happening. I estimate it was about 150 feet away.
We have a little family of fox squirrels that live in our backyard. Today I watched mama with a branch of Russian olive tree berries; she would nibble on the branch, then hop over the little stone wall to bury one of the berries! It was very entertaining!
Alarm set due to promise of mist..... ( and not many weekday mornings left until 'H' is back at school:( )
A quick local walk on our own and worth the early start!
