I posted a picture a while back of these Western Bluebirds when they were relatively newly-hatched. Here they are in a picture taken about 9 days later. I'm happy to report that just few days after I took this picture, all six fledged. Now I guess Kathi and I are empty nesters.

Usually sambar deer are pretty relaxed around vehicles but this female did not seem to happy with our presence! Her tail up was the first sign that she was telling us to get lost! After I took this photo I realized we should leave her alone to respect her request! When photographing wildlife it is always important to read their behavior signs!!! This photo was taken in Ranthambore National Park!
Time for a little massage to try and relieve the tension. She knows she's going to have to do it all again tomorrow though... Will she persevere with her Louboutin's?
Oli loves to dive for stones on the river bed. This is a small one compared to some that he picks out of the rivers he jumps into.
A railfan scrambles to get into position to photograph a Nickel Plate Express excursion train leaving Noblesville, Indiana, on a 30-minutes holiday trip. The walkway is part of a trail that crosses the White River adjacent to the tracks.
A few of the frogs getting frisky in my pond today. There were between 20-30 frogs all getting busy with each other, and the result was masses of frogspawn......

I had this idea written down in my ideas book for some time so today seemed as good a day as any to get it done. It seemed appropriate too as i woke up at 6.30 to take pictures of the sunrise, but it was overcast so when i went back to bed for an hours more sleep i ended up waking at 11.30! Where does the time go!!! It always speeds past when you enjoy yourself or lags behind when your at work! (well it does in my case!)
And to top it all off there were major problems with flickr today, don't know if anyone else had them but i couldn't upload this shot or go to the home menu!
What a palava, all i can say now is thank god and i intend to get productive and enjoy the day! Apologies for the saga, im shutting up now!
Have a great weekend flickr!
