After the Getter One moc, I've heavily revisited the Black Getter, with new proportions, details, cape position (Zurg cape) and scarf (two Harry Potter minifig capes) and predisposition for a stand.
I've always been the quiet type. Good at observation and blending in. That's me!
Uncomfortable with, and thus avoiding the spotlight or stage of any kind - I thrive in shadows.
A shade loving plant.
That is why its puzzling I allow myself to be pushed on occasion. This hotel pool scene is an example.
Nora in public, in daylight, in a costume that hides little. That's not pushing boundaries - its totally ignoring them!
Funny - once having the attention of an audience, I feel compelled to perform - or at least act the part. My motivator is fear of disappointing others. If the audience expects to see a bathing beauty poolside - I feel it necessary to act like one.
In this photo I'm glancing to an onlooker to gauge his satisfaction with my performance. I've got his attention and he's not good at being subtle. However its just not clear how he feels so I appear perplexed.
Some might say "Silly Nora - just be yourself. Don't worry about what others think."
But what if my purpose in life is to help others? Perhaps my performances, designed to meet expectations, are a way I am being myself. After all - no one is forcing me.

Lake Albano (Italian: Lago Albano or Lago di Castel Gandolfo) is a small volcanic crater lake in the Alban Hills of Lazio, at the foot of Monte Cavo, 20 kilometres (12 mi) southeast of Rome. Overlooking it is Castel Gandolfo, where the Pope has a villa.
It was known to the Roman Empire as Albanus Lacus. In its vicinity stood Alba Longa.
The lake is the deepest, about 170 m (560 ft), in Lazio. It is about 3.5 km (2.2 mi) long by 2.3 km (1.4 mi) wide, formed by the overlapping union of two volcanic craters, an origin indicated by the ridge in its center, which rises to a depth of 70 m (230 ft).

As Santa and his motley crew celebrated another successful Christmas night of delivering presents across the world, the drinks were flowing, food was flying, and things started to get a little messy at the North Pole.

The We're Here! gang is celebrating The Beatles today. As luck would have it, I went to a concert tonight that was having a Beatles celebration of its own.
The group performed almost exclusively late-period Beatles (there were a couple of early Beatles numbers too). Their creative arrangements were just wonderful, and included folk, Celtic, blues, jazz, and classical elements. Their five-part harmonies were delightful, and Cam's long, extraordinarily intricate fiddle riffs were beyond impressive. LJ's vocals were outstanding. It's no wonder she is sometimes referred to as the "Canadian Bonnie Raitt". For me, her vocal skills tied with Cam's fiddling for best performance.
I have my Christmas top but need something on the bottom half What do you think? Pencil skirt, Leather mini or Leather trousers ?
Turkey Day just passed ladies and I think it's time for me to get my workout on. I don't want to add on the Christmas weight along with the Turkey Day weight. I'm here at the gym with the newness from YumZ. The Kee SweatSuit is the most ladies. It's going to be my "go to" outfit from here on out when it comes to the gym. This was my eighth week in the flickr group Get Pushed. The purpose of the group is to take a challenge from a partner assigned to you each week. For this challenge I was paired with Nancy Goodenough. She has some remarkable work in her stream and it is definitely worth spending some time viewing her wonderful images. Her images are amazing!
Well, after examining my stream, she stated, "I was thinking rather than the modern buildings . . ., take a graphic sort of image of or in your house or school where the thumbnail looks like a graphic, but closer look you see it's part of a building inside or out. Could be part of a desk or chair even. Let your art go wild in a big graphic way. (No people/no nature in the shot!)
This was the most difficult challenge, but fun challenge. This proved to be hard for me, I think for me because I was so familiar with the subject that nothing really seem graphic enough to me. I really have a lot of room for improvement, but this was truly a push.
This was an excellent push, and I have had a great time working with and corresponding with Nancy.
I hope that this meets your expectations Nancy. I plan to continue working on this topic more. I did another set of images from objects in my classroom.

After going down to the lake and taking in the evening,the decision to get back to camp before the sun went down was a group vote. GH2
The old bumper came off last week so I could respray the rear valance and then once that was dry I could get on and fit the brand new bumper, looks so smart now! I have decided I am going to leave the wiper in place and not attack the dent as come sale time I think its better for me to be honest and sell her as she is.
Still a few things to do to her then it will be time to say goodbye unfortunately.

Tried a dollshe sized shirt on him and it fits! It's a little big in the neck, but that's more the fluffy collar than anything.
The baby hummingbirds are about nine days old now, and big enough that their heads come beyond the edge of the nest during feeding time. The motherbird is away from the nest for longer periods as she tried to find enough food to feed them.
Just learning to ride under a helpful eye. Seen while walking back from the beach near dusk. The background walker was too close in the best photo of the boy so she has been moved from the second photo when the boys leg was on the ground.
Have a good weekend when you get there. We are just 6 hours off it.
