Un grupo de uruguayos exalumnos de Georgetown University fueron recibidos por la Embajadora Keiderling, también exalumna, en su residencia oficial para comenzar a trabajar en la organización de la comunidad de alumni de dicha institución.
Durante el evento se firmaron los estatutos para la creación de la Asociación Civil sin fines de lucro de Exalumnos de Georgetown University.
El encuentro se caracterizó por un interesante intercambio de ideas, networking, proyectos y miradas a futuro, donde se analizaron cuáles son los valores compartidos entre Georgetown y Uruguay que se pueden potenciar en el futuro a través de esta asociación.

Sen. Carper rode along with Cheryl Baker on her postal route in Georgetown on Thursday, Aug. 30 to experience a postal carrier’s job. In May, Sen. Carper introduced the Postal Operations Sustainment and Transformation (POST) Act to fix the U.S. Postal Service’s current financial crisis and provide the reforms needed for its long-term survival.
