this is a 3 exposure HDR @ [-1,0,+1]. I combine the exposures in Photomatix using detail enhancer and retouched the resulting image in Lightroom. No Photoshop this time... :P

Using an elaborate system of book-keeping, Triggs operated from bank-like premises in Cooma Street, Yass, before moving his office to Sydney in 1915. Attributing his success to loyal staff, he recruited good men (like his chief inspector Hugh Stewart and secretary John Fraser), paid them well and trusted them implicitly. He often bought without inspection and was able to sell large mobs solely on his own report, or that of his staff, thereby building up a trusted clientele. He started many men on the land through financial assistance. His scale of operations was important in maintaining sheep values in parts of New South Wales through his ready purchase of surplus stock. It was said that `when Mr Triggs was prosperous, Yass was prosperous`.

I was disappointed I couldn't get a better photo, but I was fighting mobs of tourists at the time.
Shot in December during a lull in the snow, I took this shot near Attenborough Sailing Club. I noticed that the steam rising from Ratcliffe PS was beginning to catch the light from the rising sun. I initially struggled to find a suitable composition as I felt that I needed some foreground interest. Although it's not beautiful, I decided that the gate arrangement was a suitable subject to balance the composition.
The gate was built in mid-15th century. Since 18th century, the Ottoman Empire used towers' basement as dungeon, a zindan( prison), hence the name of the gate.

Vadodara which used to be known as Baroda, is the third largest city in the Western Indian State of Gujarat, after Ahmedabad and Surat. We bezoeken de markt in Kwant/Kavant waar we de mannen zien met rode tulband (Rathwa) geel/witte tulband (Nayak) Lohar (ijzerwerk verkopers) Saddhu en tempelpriesters. Stop aan het folkmuseum in Chotta Udaipur. Bezoek aan Narukot village met typische huizen met muurschilderijen, ( Pithoro painting) en dan naar de omwalling en het vroegere fort Champaner. ( Pauagadh) Bezoek aan de vrijdag moskee, Jami Masjid en verder naar de omwalling en de resten van het Pavagadh fort. Via de South Bhadra Gate binnen de fortmuren naar de Sahar Ki Masjid moskee.
