The (once) impressive gates to the old railway terminus at Gosport, used frequently by Queen Victoria en route to Osborne House on the Isle of Wight.

Location:
Above the various entrance to the markets, on Angel Street, Castle Street and Castle Garden.
Description:
Each panel shows a building from Sheffield’s past, that was located in the area of the market.
Commission:
Sheffield City Council and the Market Traders.
Comment:
Woodall was originally commissioned to initiate a more comprehensive project, but the money was unfortunately spent in the design and manufacture of the archways over the entrance to the market area and the entrance to Angel Street from Fitzalan Square.

Castle Gate
Castlegate is one of eleven Quarters in Sheffield's City Centre. It is now bound by Commercial Street and part of the High Street to the south, Exchange Place to the east, the road named Castlegate to the north, Angel Street and Snig Hill to the west. Castlegate is the main thoroughfare to and from the North of Sheffield as it links Park Square to The Wicker, although it is intended that the Sheffield Northern Relief Road will take this traffic when completed, allowing Exchange Place, Castlegate and The Wicker to be downgraded. Castlegate, built along a portion of the River Don, was the old location of the slaughter houses. It also served as a back entrance to the Alexandra Opera House as well as the market quarter situated on the site of the former castle of Sheffield, hence the name of the street and quarter.
My sister who is an incredible artist had started her training in tattoo art work. The shop she worked in at the time had some real characters that worked together. they were lovely fun people. They had asked for some photos for their website to mess around with and we just grabbed some props and had some fun.
Hells Gate is an abrupt narrowing of British Columbia's Fraser River, located immediately downstream of Boston Bar in the southern Fraser Canyon. The towering rock walls of the Fraser River plunge toward each other forcing the waters through a passage only 35 metres (115 ft) wide.
The Lych Gate
The name of these covered gateways at the entrance to a churchyard is derived from 'Lych', or 'Lich', the old english term for 'corpse'. The covered gateway was where coffin bearers could wait, under shelter, for the minister to arrive to begin the funeral proceedings.

I figured it doesn't matter about the whites being blown...you wont need anything but the covered gateway.
Golden Gate (Lu Dhowka) in Durbar Square, Bhaktapur, Nepal. The gate is the principal entrance to the Fifty-Five Window Palace (Pachpanna Jhyale). Installed in 1753 by King Ranajit Malla (Jaya Ranjit Malla), the last Malla king of Bhaktapur.
