Took a wander down the fields i overlook after work with a picture in mind, but things were very overgrown with thistles as tall as me, didnt get the picture i wanted but liked this gate and how the light shone on it...

Saint Louis Arch. I was hoping for some clouds, but it was totally clear. Ended up lending itself well to the illusion of a mirror image.

Once a Coaching Inn .. and this passage way - Angel Gate .. was where the Horses were taken - a Stable block ..

Horses could be changed for New Horses,OR where Owners staying in the Inn - could have their Horses Stabled

The height of the Coaching Inn was in the late 1700s - to the early 1800s ..

Before the arrival of Rail transport ..

Now just a passage way from the High Street to North Street ..

The 110-ton elliptical sculpture is forged of a seamless series of highly polished stainless steel plates, which reflect Chicago’s famous skyline and the clouds above. A 12-foot-high arch provides a "gate" to the concave chamber beneath the sculpture, inviting visitors to touch its mirror-like surface and see their image reflected back from a variety of perspectives.
