Flickr Group Roulette asked what I want for Christmas. Sorry to lame out on you, but I don't have a photo of what I want. I have a list instead.

I want two categories of things: stuff I know I want, and stuff I want but I don't know. In the former category, I have lists and dreams for specific things that I want. In the latter, I have a broad category of desires, which nearly anything will satisfy.

Cat A, I want:

* A battery grip for my XTi

* The Sigma 18-200 OS lens

* Cokin creative filters

Cat B, I want:

* Motorcycle stuff

* Camera stuff

* Geek stuff

* Random gadgets

* Stuff for our trip to Italy

* Fixins' for "lunch at home"

Jamie knows that I am easy to shop for. Nearly anything will make me happy, and I have a huge variety of interests.

Anyways, that's what I want. That, and whirled peas.

Alas, if only I could really play it but I don't have the patience to learn to play bass (or guitar, or any other string instrument).

Truth be told, if I could magically go back in time and learn anything I wish I could have learned to play a fiddle. God, I love me some fiddle.

And once again, I have come to the conclusion that George is used to my photo-taking because I offhandedly said, "oh hey, I need your bass for a bit" and he never even raised an eyebrow even though he knew full well that I wasn't about to go write the next great rock ballad or anything.
