After a bitter secession from the authoritarian nation of OmniStat and years of conflict and violence Cascadia falls under the rule of the Conglomerate, an oligarchy comprising 13 large corporations. The most powerful corporation is Kruger Holding, whose patriarch Gabriel Kruger has monopolized the city's law enforcement under his Kruger Security (K-Sec) division.
OpTic Gaming is an eSports organisation with teams in Call of Duty, Halo and CSGO. These photos are of the Call of Duty team at ESWC 2016.

Wrapping up a particularly beautiful weekend at our friend's lake house in Meredith, NH...we made the 15-minute trek out to Funspot ("The Spot for Fun"). The arcade museum aspect of the place pretty much blew my mind...and I got about 1/10000th the photos I would have liked to have taken...but, all in all it was, indeed, pretty fun.
Miles and I played some pinball (the awesome pre-daftpunk Pin-Bot classic) and some Hard Drivin' ("The game featured the first 3D polygon driving environment via a simulator cabinet, rendered with a custom architecture.")...of course we did the stunt course and of course we collided head-on with a lumbering polygonal truck and exploded.
I'm not even sure what this is...but good lord that is some sweet design.
The game is over, we're going upstairs to snuggle the kids to sleep, but I just need to check really quickly and see if anything interesting popped up on my laptop while I was busy... Addicted? Perhaps. Blogged here.
