Backgammon is a board game for two competitors, held a one-dimensional way in which opponents move their pieces in opposite directions, as in playing dice and these determine how many "homes" will be advanced, being victorious one that can not remove all the first parts (which can be regarded as being also a "racing game" or "path")
Dating back to about 3500 BC, the Senet was a board game played in Egypt that is remotely related to the backgammon; however doubts that backgammon has developed from it, since they were not found Senet boards in the period between 1500 B.C to 200. However, it is considered a backgammon predecessor.
