Pontiac GTO Première Muscle Cars
En 1963 lorsque l'ingénieur en chef de Pontiac , John Z. DeLorean , et son équipe ont installé un moteur de grande taille dans le châssis intermédiaire de la division, ils ont immédiatement inventé la Muscle Cars.
Au cours de ces 20 minutes , Bill Collins et Russ Gee ont assembler un moteur V-8 389 ci dans un châssis Tempest .
Ils ont créé le prototype de la GTO de Pontiac et ont changé le cours de l'histoire de l'automobile
À partir de ce moment, les voitures de performance américaines ne seront plus jamais les mêmes .

One of the best muscle cars ever, the Pontiac GTO. Car designer John Delorean (yeah, that guy who made the same car used in Back to the Futrure) was under orders from Pontiac to design only responsible family cars, but he got this one in under the radar by getting the design approved, then putting a MONSTER engine in it after the fact. People loved it.
Ken Kellow's 1968 GTO is a good example of what you could have had if you took care of your things! His brother Jim's '67 is the white one to the right.

Ferrari 250 GTO s/n 3647GT at the 2008 Lime Rock Historics
This is the only 250 GTO that's still unrestored
At the local car show, I was trying to find interesting hunks of metal and rubber to photograph.
Shot with the workhorse Nikon FM using Kentmere 100 film. Self-developed in Ilfosol3 1:14 dilution for 7.5 min.
A friend of mine brought his 599 GTO to my place the other morning. Took it out for a morning coffee run. Awesome sounds!
