Just back from my Night Photography workshop in Oxford, lots of fun but so cold!

Okay, anyone who knows me well, knows that i'm a huge music dork. My friendship with Adam is a result of that dorkiness. I met Adam in New Orleans a million years ago while he was touring with The Negro Problem and Counting Crows. this was back in my "lets follow CC across the world" days. Over the years Adam has released a bunch of great music, and garnered a bit of attention for himself. His newest release "Daylight Kissing Night" is a greatest hits package that he's released on his own. Thanks to the magic of word of mouth sales and the internet, his cd SOLD OUT! during its presale this past weekend on Amazon. Sweet, eh?

Now, even better news. The cd ranked really high on Amazons list because of the sales and now may have a chance at getting into Billboards top 200. But, in order to do that the Amazon rank has to stay high.

With that said, if you're a fan of power pop, indi stuff and want to help out... click on over to Amazon and pick up a copy. Dont be deterred by the back-order status, that should be taken care of soon.

some fun stuff in my garden- Canna Lilies that are now almost 7ft tall- the hot weather and generous watering made the Canna section looks like a tropical forest....

Today was my last day at Davis Bay as Principal on Call and I move to another school tomorrow and then another on Friday. I did get 2.5 days with the children here and enjoyed working with them a lot. The sun came out this afternoon and these two friends begged me to take their picture. You can see they are having a good time.
