I did not take these pictures. They were forwarded to me a while ago and I wanted to share them with other folks. Enjoy!
a nice little project my color theory class did with a visiting local artist, her name eludes me now.
Elizabeth and her cousins are swapping Christmas ornaments starting this year, and instead of buying one, I suggested that she make one.
These aren't what she made, but I kind of had fun with the sculpey, too...

Fabric Collage workshop at the Bay View Book Arts Gallery, Feb. 20, 2010.
I pulled all this out of Robin's stash but only ended up using a few pieces of the fabric for my final layout. These are discarded fabric and trim samples from Porters of Racine and some funky vintage costume jewelry
This is a slightly upscale boutique specializing in trinkets and toys for dogs Before I found my dog, Lucy, this store would have been lost on me. It still seems a bit over the top, but now, at least, I can understand – somewhat.
First, my Paris arrived.
Then my DSi (the regular model) had its R button fail (that little trigger thingie). I spent a lot of time swearing at it while trying to play Blue Dragon. So Carter went out and bought me an XL! Turns out I am old, because I really like the bigger screen, it really does make things easier >_< LOL. Sucker weighs a ton though!
My other DSi will go back for repair; when it comes back it will be used primarily for outside the house and the XL will stay home for play ('cause like I said, it weighs a TON)
Abigail's collection of Fisher Price people, all of whom were given personalities as we all grew up together, playing on the floor or on trips when some of them joined us in the car or surprised us by running along side while we were driving on the freeway.
I have quite a bit of "stuff" in my cubicle. Now that I have higher walls, I can accumulate even more stuff.

In the last couple weeks I've acquired some fun items. A couple weeks ago, we met up with littlepretty, her husband, their adorable little baby milo, and maddox their dog and in exchange I got these awesome letterpress cards. A couple weeks back I ordered this bag from morelle on etsy and it finally arrived from Greece on Monday. Today while picking up just a couple things at Target I found this cute felted newsboy hat and the orange wrap/scarf.
So a big YAY for meeting new friends and getting some fun new cards and accessories.
