This is one of MANY images taken on a trip to Santa Fe, NM from Ft. Collins, CO. The trip had a purpose, to photograph a wedding of a dear friend, but we also saw lots of fun stuff along the way and while in Santa Fe. 1000 miles through the beauty of Southwestern Colorado on Highway 285. 2000 images including the ones taken at the wedding. My wife and I really enjoyed the trip and we will do it again....soon.Sunset from our room at the El Ray hotel in Santa Fe.
...and looking forward to editing my images. I'm behind the wheel of this jeep (my husband took the picture - for purely documentary reasons of course). Edited on an ipad using snapseed.
This photo was taken at the All Souls Procession in Tucson, Arizona. My camera was part of my costume. It was on a long stick concealed below a deer skull with a large set of antlers. I call it the antler cam. the light was from an SB-800 mounted on top of the skull between the antlers and was triggered by a synch cord. Most people fixated on the skull and I could get a shot before they realized it was a camera. Fun stuff!
i feel like crap using a photobooth shot this early in the game, but it's round two, so i don't feel AS bad.
i had a good day at work, got home relatively early and got my work done (Heart of Darkness- fun stuff, eh?) and then had yummy falafel and caught up on the news. WOW wouldn't ya know it - any of this would have made a great shot, but ah well.
instead you get my new scarf from H&M. the one i didn't realize is resplendent in bugs until i had it on this morning. cute but creepy? cute?
