This friendly Kookaburra came to visit one morning. Kookaburras are one of my favourite species of Australian Birds. I just love their personalities and their call, which sounds alot like a overly enthusiastic laugh.
My brother says that my life is like a Disney animated movie with all of the wildlife. Maybe he's right.
Last week I was in my driveway when this little spike buck walked right up to me. I've never had let me closer than 20 feet before, but he walked right up and let me pet him on the head. I then cut up an apple and hand-fed him.
It was an amazing experience!

a burro peeking through the fence has this innocent look. a quiet, friendly and dependable pack animal it is.
This very friendly girl stopped and chatted with me while she waited for the light to change. She told me of places to take photo's in and around Chicago. Very Nice person indeed. I didn't tell her that I am also a native from Chicago she seemed to want to help me out so I said Nothing.
