My friend Kiran, we were at mcdonalds and it was raining... It didn't turn out how I wanted it to. I guess those are the joys of film photography.

The photo was taken by good friend LightPoacher (www.flickr.com/photos/38140904@N06/), and kindly loaned to me to do some Lightroom training and a small edit-off between us. LightPoacher is a incredible photographer and a genius at capturing fantastic and rich portraits. His version is to follow.

This gentleman is a brain surgeon, enjoying some time off at a pool in Portugal.

Now I'm not really one for quotes in photos, but the original was quite wide and the facial expression was just begging for some dialogue.

My heart felt thanks go to LightPoacher for letting me edit this photo. Please visit his photostream using the link above.

Sr. Patricia Mahoney (BVM) photographed in the pantry of the Martin de Porres House of Hospitality in September, 2006. Pat passed away rather suddenly on July 30, 2008 surrounded by many loved ones. She inspired many activists and people of faith to act and keep their faith alive.

My friend Ken and I went to a high flat area of the strip mined area of Noble County Ohio to get some shots of the Moon last night, although we were a little disappointed with the results we still had a great time.

Taking a ride on one of the diesels on a rainy day was putting my friend to sleep.

It's truly amazing thing how people seem to be distant to each other. These two friends (I suppose) were sitting like this for over 45 minutes at one of Madrid's coffee shops. Not a single word exchanged, not a word... It's terrifying. The illusion of being "connected" while the distance between people grows immeasurably. Madness.

I think that exactly this evenement will destroy the humanity... No atomic weapons, no diseases, no crime nor any other thing. Disability in relations with others will kill this planet. We're already turning into a society of unspoken idiots and sociopaths only knowing how to press "like" button under a selfie of a "friend" (should I rather say "connection") or a picture of someone's cat. That's how, in my humble opinion, the only one known to us intelligent form of being will perish.
