In some cemetery on Springdale, Austin, TX.

Blake and I met up with Cherie and Mave today. We had an awesome time of Starbucks and shopping! It was a wonderful day. We have to do it again soon.

This guy has sort of become my friend. He will be laying in a branch that is a bit far away from my window. I will make one click sound with the camera. Curiously this fellow instead of running away from the sound, will come towards the sound. Stare at me for a few seconds, pose for a couple of more photographs and then go away. He is doing this for the past 2 or 3 days..

Maude's engagement party... The guy whose knee she's sitting on is Frank, her fiancé.

I realize this is not fine photography but I was sooo excited to find that one of the three Praying Mantid egg cases in our garden has hatchlings! Now I need to get a better lens so I can actually get an awesom close-up shot of something so tiny. Any suggestions? View LARGE or ORIGINAL to really see our friend!!

A friend who works with me at my job! :)

I lost a friend to cancer. This is our kindergarten class at Knolls Elementary in San Mateo, California. Connie, my friend, is in the second row and the second from the right.

And yes, I'm here too, same row but second from the left.

I'm glad I still have these old photos. With the digital age and kids taking photos with their phones and sharing them on Facebook I have to wonder, will they have prints or archives to dig out an old photo and bask in memories?

Using some Portra 160, one of my favorite films, with the M4 and M5 in different environments. Weirdly, two of three rolls the ends released out of the cannister after the last shot. Either I've become a superman to advance the film to break it from the end, or I just got very unlucky. Used the Cinefilm C41 kit, which when I keep in the dark and with very limited air in the containers, lasts a fairly long time. Thanks to those flickeranians who keep us all inspired to get out there and use our equipment.
