Congregating at the Hyatt Bar. Really, it's pretty much my favourite part!

My dear dear friend MB is in town, and this makes me giddily, ridiculously happy. He grabbed the camera and commemorated the joy.

This was a celebration of life for a friend who recently passed @ 60,..... way too young!.

He was a banjo player, a sailor, a desert land yacht sailor, an IT guy, a City preservationist, was going to run for mayor once, A double kidney transplant survivor, an antique collector, a photographer, a husband, father and a good person & friend....

Remembering many good, & crazy times...

This getelman, (forgot his name!..;-/), played with him for fun & at various events. Now, he played for him, one last time.

I went to Roppongi to watch friend's gig tonight.

this guy followed me around for 20 minutes or so until i finally snapped a picture of him...then he wanted to hold the camera for himself...which was a harrowing minute and a half of him trying to focus and look through the lens. i never could catch his name...
