The ad in the background to the right reads "Genius is Born Crazy" and I've been thinking about what this could actually mean and what the ad seems to be telling us about ourselves and the relationship between higher intelligence and unpredictability and irrational behavior.
The title is taken from the Elena Ferrante series that I really loved reading about 4 years ago. For some reason, I didn't take any photos of those books before I returned them to the library. Anyhow, I enjoyed them, especially the parts about dissolving world boundaries.

Hi Everyone, As I have mentioned before I love the Film Noir from the 1950s and 1960s, they were cheesey and silly but also fun and gritty and make great watching on a rainy Saturday afternoon, so I wanted to do a photo inspired by my love of fashion and dark and dangerous side of Hollywood from her golden age. and i just watched ABDC on the computer. hahaha.
This guy has been hanging around and he seems like a bit of an outcast as he is often alone and doesn't really have a mob to call his own.
He has let me get close to him to take photos even though I don't want to get too close just in case he decides he doesn't want to be friends.
Anyway the other day he did deiced to take back my friend request and as I went to take a photo he came at me.
I basically shit myself and ran back into the safety of the cat yard. I can take a hint.

This beautiful little lady belongs to my parents' neighbour, and she's a wild little thing who never lets anyone get close to her, let alone touch her. That is, until she decided that I was her best friend. When I'm at my parents' house, she comes to the garden, calls me, and leads me to the table in a corner, asking for pets. She follows me around, meowing if I stop petting her, and she is just the sweetest little kitty. Her transformation towards me is amazing.
Cold and frosty morning, saw this nice animal portrait - simple and minimal. Curious expression in the sheep’s face.
