Yesterday was the unveiling of Morty's grave marker. My friend Sally lost her lifelong love earlier this year. She has been so brave and I am really proud of the way she has learned to manage on her own, difficult to do at any age, but Sal is 70! It was a beautiful day and his friends and family were all there. Goodbye, dear friend.
I asked a friend about the small stones and she told me it is a custom to leave a token on the marker to show you were there. It has no religious significance.
Mariposa once again trying to tag along like a lost puppy. she doesn't let me touch her but she is always looking at me and following me around. she sometimes button-noses me and that's about it. i give her a couple years to mature and i'll bet she's going to be the most affectionate one there, maybe even more so than daisy.
