We went on a hike in North Vancouver and found lots of salmonberries next to the trail so I just picked them to make jam !
A pair of nearly brand new ET44AC's (CN 3146 & CN 3159) lead CN 401 over the Lachine Canal during a cloudy period. Unfortunately the dark skies messed up my focus a bit and this is nowhere near as sharp as it could be. But that fresh power sure looks good!

Cool Cherry Dessert Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup pitted fresh cherries
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 sliced and peeled banana
1/4 cup coarsely chopped pecans (or walnuts)
1/2 cup whipped cream
Preparation:
Combine cherries and sugar then refrigerate for 2 hours.
Combine chilled cherries with banana and nuts; fold in whipped cream.
Serve in four dessert glasses.
fun facts:
The 4th of July is Independence Day in the United States of America and also the first day of the National Cherry Festival in the ‘cherry capital’ of Traverse Bay, Michigan.
The USA is also the second highest producer of cherries after Turkey in Europe.

Even though Tweeterwall is driving lots of traffic it’s not plastered with google or banner ads. There are icons of celebrity and character tweeters but it all seems pretty harmless.
Made at work. To go on top of a crispy pork belly + creamed corn + spicy mixed green crepe. Yeah, it was all kinds of awesome. Oh, and don't forget the fried egg on top.

Not so much a fresh start for 2025, but a fresh new tattoo for my arm. This is to remember a special friendship
Fresh oranges anyone? I took this photo in the kitchen sink with a dark blue background made out of foam. I used my Nikon SB800 flash here and caught this cool star type effect on one of the drops, I guess in some shots the flash light will reflect on water.
