A fresh fall of snow greeted me this morning as we set off to hike the Ice Lake Trail near Whitehorse in Southern Yukon. The snow continued and picked up in intensity during our hike, which made for some beautiful scenes.
This photo taken with the Olympus OM-D E-M1 and M.Zuiko 12-40mm f/2.8 Pro mounted to a tripod. The final image was processed from raw in Lightroom with a VSCO film preset, which added just a little to the colour and texture of the photo.

This was taken during an outing at the Rhododendron Species Foundation in Federal Way last month. Being located in the "Evergreen State" as it is, of course it was raining, lol.
I liked the fresh spring green look.

Picked these at the farm yesterday and I see Peach Pie or Cobbler in my future!
There is nothing nicer than eating Moroccan bread with some choice olives. I could live on it and, as a friend pointed out, many probably have.
Women and children would bring their own bread and cakes to have baked, some to sell, some for the family.

A class 88 speeds through Preston station with a southbound liner. There were a few boxes (but not many)
Sliced fruits handmade by me in 1:12 scale, polymer clay. I am happy with how the pomegranate and watermelon turned out, since its my first attempt at them!
