All shots in this set were taken along various freight lines in Queens & Brooklyn.

The latest ones were shot earlier this year during the research & creation of a graffiti book by Joseph Anastasio. If you'd like a well put-together compilation of current graffiti on and along NYC's B&Q rails, grab ahold of a copy of his latest book Brooklyn Queens Freight.

Freight trains benched in Northern California

We rode to the different levels of the telescope building in a giant freight elevator. Pictured here: Mom, my cousin Mike, and Mike's friend Jason. Everyone's wearing warm coats because the Subaru building is kept at the same temperature as the outside to minimize thermal issues when the viewing dome is opened each night.

With the Borealis clear, CPKC started running freights and I hung out for awhile at the end of Vermillion siding to catch them. First came another Potash train with just a single CP Gevo in command.

In the early 2000's I purchased 6 CD's featuring drawings and photos of rolling stock of South African Railways / Spoornet.

Most photos I believe are by the late Colonel Andre Kritzinger, Some pictures the photographer/s are unknown.
