MN Society of Professional Journalists hosted Freelance Love on Feb. 23, 2012, in which freelance writers were able to meet dozens of local print and online publication editors.
Can you name the gear on his shoulders? I fail at Canon. =P

Taken with my iPhone, I was walking from school to Bart (Oh, and this is a REALLY old picture, taken on March 10, 2009, BTW) and saw this one guy with two Canon bodies each loaded with L glass on him. x]
Did some cropping and sharpening in LR because I was bored.

At approximately 1330 local time today, HMS AMBUSH, an Astute-class submarine, while submerged and conducting a training exercise was involved in a glancing collision with a merchant vessel off the coast of Gibraltar. We are in contact with the merchant vessel and initial indications are that it has not sustained damage.

The submarine suffered some external damage but there is absolutely no damage to her nuclear plant and no member of the ship’s company was injured in the incident.
An immediate investigation is being conducted.
The submarine will be entering Gibraltar later this evening for further checks. There are no safety concerns associated with HMS AMBUSH being alongside.

I've been a busy girl lately, trying to add freelance graphic design to my list of jobs! Here are some of the logos I've done lately. I hadn't done a logo design since college, so I feel a bit rusty, but for the most part they are received well by my clients.

The Freelancer MIS is a limited edition militarized variant of the classic mercantile ship developed by the UEE. These were produced in very small quantity due to some early payload incidents. This version sacrifices the majority of the cargo capacity to make way for missiles.
Star Citizen is an ambitious crowd funded open world space simulation project from Chris Roberts (Wing Commander, Freelancer).
