As a freelancer I can relate to this image, the struggle to make living using antiquated equipment, the long hours and stressful delays.

I made the image in taxi on the way back from a meeting with a potential client on the banks of the Cairo Nile, we were stuck in the mother of all traffic jams, the driver was tired and stressed, I was, for once content as I had eaten fish and concluded what I thought was a successful meeting. Now I look back, the real success was this image, which is one of my favourites.

Alpont és un municipi situat al nord-oest de la província de València, en el límit amb la província de Terol, al sud de la serra de Javalambre. El terme és abrupte, per l'existència de nombrosos barrancs, especialment al sud. Les muntanyes estan molt erosionades; els principals són: el Mola (1.511 m), Turó Negre (1.407 m), Fonts (1.238 m.), el Pujol (1.289 m.) i Barajuelo (1.114 m.). Els barrancs de l'Aragall i Arque-la són les principals vies fluvials, i arrepleguen les aigües d'altres subsidiaris, donant origen al riu de Xelva. Dóna nom al Full 638 del Mapa Topogràfic Nacional.

El clima és continental. Hi ha nombroses fonts.

La vila d'Alpont s'alça en el tossal que unix les muntanyes de Sant Cristòfol i el Castillo, en terrenys rocosos, obert per complet als vents del nord.

La villa de Alpuente se levanta en el collado que une los montes de San Cristóbal y el Castillo, en terrenos rocosos, abierto por completo a los vientos del norte.

The Green Heron that flew up and almost landed on top of me wasn't my only encounter with them on that day!! Not only did I come across a few more but they were very cooperative and all willing to do a bit of posing!! This is another of my little green buddies that I found doing a bit of spear fishing on Armand Bayou!

Coming up with freelance units provides the opportunity to add all sorts of detail parts, so the designation reflects units which have retained the original 20-cylinder 645 with mid-life electrical upgrades

.

These units have been on the bench since at least 2018; the GP35 is still unfinished.

Glasgow band, Freelance Liars. Their debut EP, Good & Gone, has just been released on iTunes.

The boring photo details: it's a bokeh panorama stitched from 37 shots taken wide open on the Nikkor 85mm F1.8. Before cropping, the stitched file was 409 MP with an effective focal length of 25mm and an effective aperture of 0.53.

A bit of a change from the usual landscapes but, after some extensive PP (which pushed my PC memory a little beyond what it's accustomed to dealing with), I'm reasonably pleased with the results.

Hello again everyone, as promised in my last post I have completed building instructions for the Lego Freelancer Max! I have used the instructions myself to create the phyical model, hopefully everyone who cares to build this will find them easy enough to follow. Please feel free to message me if you are having any trouble with them.

Below is a link to download a PDF step by step instruction manual, there is also a XML file for easy upload to Bricklink.com if you need to order Lego bricks and a read me file with instructions on how to upload the XML file.

I hope that you all enjoy building this model as much as I had creating it. I only ask that if you do build this model, share a photo of the it with the community!
