RD7908. This attractive looking freelance Pacific was built in 1927 and is named EUREKA. It can be seen on the 7¼” gauge Great Cockcrow Railway and in this picture it is departing from the main station at Hardwick Central.
Situated near Chertsey in Surrey, the Great Cockcrow Railway is an impressive and extensive fully signalled line with two intertwined routes, each giving a ride of around 20 minutes. Six or more trains can be in operation at any one time and there are some steepish gradients to make the engines work hard.

RD7920. This attractive looking freelance Pacific was built in 1927 and is named EUREKA. It can be seen on the 7¼” gauge Great Cockcrow Railway and in this picture shows it at Everglades Junction. This station is not normally accessible by the public, but I was accompanied there by a member of staff who very kindly offered to escort me to a location where I could get some different pictures.
