Probably close to 25 years old. Collectors will be looking for these someday.
This one is a Ted Williams, Free Spirit. By my standards, a very uncomfortable bicycle, but good for going a distance. Sure, modern bikes have springs in the frame, gel seats, 97 speeds, 32 inch wheels and weigh 1.527 pounds . . . OK, I got a little carried away, but I'm sure modern bicycles are better. I still ride a 3-speed.
Did you notice that this one still has the plastic germ-collector bottle? Also rat-trap pedals. It's very close to original. I wonder where it was made?
This is an Annie Potter Presents leaflet with six dresses for the Fibre Craft 'Cindy' doll. They fit the Mini Free Spirit just about perfectly. Only thing I did different was to use a size 5 steel hook for the bodice, instead of a 7. And added a couple extra rounds to the bonnet.

An American Indian Free Spirit. Her name is Winter Dawn, and she is shown here with her faithful familiar, Wings-that-Whisper.
The dress is a very slight adaptation of this free pattern:

I used sport weight yarn and a size E hook, and eliminated one row on the yoke front and back. Plus, I flared the skirt more than the pattern called for by increasing 5sc every other row.

This is a mug rug I made for my mom. I used strips that I cut off from the front of the mug rug and pieced them together on the back.
Jennie, for my good friend Bev! Her favorite color is blue (bet you couldn't tell).

Free Spirit work-in-progress. Two full size Free Spirits, and one Mini. The yarn for the bodies is Vanna's choice in Beige (for light) and Honey (for dark). It is not quite as 'rough' as Red Heart Super Saver, but still yields a nice three dimensional crochet body.
