Heath Fragrant-orchid (Gymnadenia borealis) a northern species of the Fragrant Orchid we get further south at Badrallach on the Northwest Coast of Scotland

My Oncidium Fragrant Fantasy started blooming when I put it back outside. It was inside for over a week and it really didn't like it. It had started to drop some of the buds, so I figured it needed some outside time. I was just glad that the temps were going back up above 50.

This was a new mushroom for me. They looked good so I had to pick them since they were miles from the car. Come to find out they're probably not edible. They didn't look like a Russula species with that balled-up appearance.

Tabebuia is a notable flowering tree. The flowers are 3 to 11 cm wide and are produced in dense clusters. Well-known common names include trumpet tree, colours vary between species ranging from white, light pink, yellow, lavender, magenta, or red.

Looks superficially like a lime (Tilia) with similar bracts, but the flowers were bigger, with an overpowering lily scent. Full of bees!

these are local perfumes called "ittar" made in and around hyderabad

I think these may cause all those allergies symptoms, but they are certainly lovely.

H. 'Summer Fragrance' is of course fragrant

At the Summer Palace. We spent 6 hours walking around today! It was great!

I think this fragrant shrub by Prospect Park Lake is a winter honeysuckle, Lonicera fragrantissima.

Gymnadenia conopsea, Boxhill

No name, just pink and white and gloriously scented. Crisp, spicy, on the edge of peppermint.

Common name:Fragrant Boxwood

 

Individual flowers large. Petals bald, marked by purple/ mauve streaks. Stamens eight.

  

Endemic to NEQ. Well developed rain forest
