Wishing you all a wonderful and safe new week.

For the Saturday challenge: "flowers in vertical photo"

We have honeysuckle growing in the garden, and the fragrance in the evenings is lovely. But I do find it a difficult flower to photograph, so it rarely appears here on Flickr. I decided to try once more, this time with the help of my tiny Japanese vases.

This was my first rose out this year . Beautiful to see & a delight to smell ,also a very healthy cultivar. This is a new plant , a standard in my new garden. I grew this rose ,in bush form , for many years (over 30 ) in my previous garden ,so I know that I can rely on it .

I think these yellow azaleas are the only sweet smelling azaleas in our garden. I have them flowering under my bedroom window, and they are so lovely! As they fade the honeysuckle takes over ... beautiful evening scents!
