Think I was in big trouble with this little one, obviously Charlie's food wasn't put in its food bowl early or quick enough.....
Another garden visitor.
I had seen a picture on Flickr with a fox on the railway line. but so far have had to make do with one from the bedroom window.!
Best I have seen is a cat 'walking the line' at Ironbridge.
I did hear a fellow Flickrite had seen a bear on the line - but that was in Canada!
It's been a great spring and so nice to be able to see and photograph four separate fox families already.
A fox enjoying some winter sunshine in a field on Harp Hill in Cheltenham this morning. The weather was unusually warm and it felt more like early spring than mid winter!
Red Foxes are being hunted intensively in Denmark, therefore it is very difficult to capture one. I saw this beauty walking towards me and the wind conditions were perfect, but she noticed me earlier then I was hoping for. Nevertheless I'm very happy with the result.

A bold red fox (zorro in Spanish) that I encountered in the countryside of the Sierra Blanca near to the Mirador del Macho Montes in Andalusia, Spain.
This looks to be a fox squirrel (Sciurus niger). This one was hanging out in the Denver Botanical Gardens.
It takes a lot of patience, but it's well worth it! My friend(or so I'd like to think)....the red fox.
My mom told me about a family of fox behind her house. Of course I had to go back and get the gear. Thanks mom for the info as this is a first for me.
This young fox blends in well with the dead tall grasses and plants in the woods. There are plenty of birds, mice and squirrels in the area to keep him busy. This little guy was born in the Spring.
I watched my yard fox try to get at hibernating chipmunks, and chase squirrels, for about 30 minutes this morning. At one point it climbed halfway up the arborvitae in its pursuit. It startled momentarily at the sound of my camera clicking, but then went right back to hunting.
Although it was ultimately unsuccessful, the birds enjoyed a blissful squirrel-free feeder zone for the rest of the morning.
