Just love this fox, in this photo, she stops to stare at the photographer. We are not positive this is a female, but am pretty sure it is. Hopefully, before long, everyone will be sick and tired of all the black fox photos that will be posted! Still going through the 150 plus photos to pull out the good ones. Hoping she comes back many many more times throughout fall and winter.
A sighting of our neighborhood fox in early morning light showed her sporting her new winter coat and a better body condition! I am headed to San Francisco to be with family for the holidays. Wishing everyone a good Thanksgiving! Remember, no talking about politics at the dinner table....no food fights!

One of at least six or seven fox pups, during the spring i was quite blessed to have so many fox encounters like never before. They're almost fully grown up by now and learn to hunt by themselves. Hope many of them survive and don't get shot. In areas of intense hunting the red fox litter is much bigger (up to 8-10 pups) than in areas where is no or only little hunting (3-4 pups)...Southern Bavaria

From some fox photos I took in 2012 but never posted this one.
This pup was from a litter under a shed in the neighbourhood.
Whilst on our last land excursion on Svalbard we came upon a region where little Auks by the thousands were nesting high above in the scree we found a family of six Artic Fox Cubs. Our small group stood quietly watching these beautiful creatures eat and play for over an hour it was an experience I will always treasure.

There wasn't any panic or alarming sounds, but a few minutes after the previous shot the scene changed dramatically. Fortunately there was no drama and the fox disappeared as quietly as it came.
Fox (Vixen). Photo taken almost 9 months ago in Essex, Uk. I like to occasionally look over older pictures and reprocess to see how I can do things differently. Hopefully will return to this place this year to see some fox cubs in summer
Taken a long time ago when staying with a friend in Dorset. The fox would often come and lay on the lawn of his garden and enjoy the sunshine and a sleep.

There was a group of Fox Sparrows moving through my local Conservation Area this morning, calling, singing, etc. I was surprised, tough to photograph however, especially with a dog attached to your belt! Still happy to get a few snaps
