Found this fox walking along the rocky beach of the Beaufort Sea. Not sure what it would be hunting for among the gravel, but its head was down and sniffing as it walked along. At one point, it marked a piece of driftwood, so it must hunt this beach often. The Arctic Fox numbers are down this year, so it was a treat to find this one.

Looking forward to see adorable fox pups this spring...Bavaria, Germany

Red Fox kit

This Kit and several other Kits had been hanging out in a dirt pile in my back yard and this part was cool, I got to take photos of them while I was sitting in the house!

Fox at Pennington Flash (Bunting Hide)

Portrait of a red fox.

Taken at the weekend in my friend's garden. He has been a regular visitor since he was a cub.

Our friend caught a fox running through his yard - I "painted" it for him....

There is just something special about foxes - they are incredibly curious and intelligent animals, and I rarely have an opportunity to photograph wild foxes in their habitat

Just love this fox, in this photo, she stops to stare at the photographer. We are not positive this is a female, but am pretty sure it is. Hopefully, before long, everyone will be sick and tired of all the black fox photos that will be posted! Still going through the 150 plus photos to pull out the good ones. Hoping she comes back many many more times throughout fall and winter.

Trotting through the long grass I think this is another fox or maybe Mr Fox 2 son as such from last year.

Last week I saw two from the window one chasing the other this shot was taken late.

Hard to get a good shot when its not still in the low light.

Not sure if Mr Fox 2 is still around :((

Fox Cubs, Jersey shore

There wasn't any panic or alarming sounds, but a few minutes after the previous shot the scene changed dramatically. Fortunately there was no drama and the fox disappeared as quietly as it came.

Vulpes fulva - on a very dark, dull day!

Here's a couple of images of the same female fox I had the pleasure of spending a few weeks with last Spring/Summer. I was hoping to catch up with her again this Spring but I think it'll have to wait - hopefully in Autumn.

Fox cub - Cleethorpes.

After laying in the snow for an hour and a half waiting for this guy, he ran out a few feet from me. I was too low on the ground and most shots couldn't even see the feet due to the angle. But, it did provide some excellent opportunities for portrait shots!

Fox (Vixen). Photo taken almost 9 months ago in Essex, Uk. I like to occasionally look over older pictures and reprocess to see how I can do things differently. Hopefully will return to this place this year to see some fox cubs in summer
