No patio portable ops today.
It's just gonna get too warm too fast for us.
So a nice long early morning walk had to suffice.
Thank goodness all of our outdoor chores are done!

The forecast said we had a 50% chance of snow at sea level and what do you know...we got snow...lol. Now it was 48F...9 C when it was "snowing" so it melted as soon as it hit the ground, but it was snow. My mother who was born and raised in Pennsylvania had a good laugh, it was still a novelty to me, being only the second time in my life it has snowed this low...and it "snowed" on and off for a good 90 minutes.
Forecast is on heavy rain tomorrow for london :(((
as this pic of my favourite lighthouse in France.
Enjoy a dry and sunny sunday from London and get ready to be wet!
The forecast was for a warm day, highs of -2° C, and lots of wind. But somehow we dodged the bullet in the wind department and had a fine snowshoe. It's called Horton Hill because Tim Hortons has a summer camp at the base of this prominence, on the other side from where we were exploring. We had had a good dump of snow, likely more than 2 ft / 70 cm's, which made the snowshoeing good.

The weather forecast was really bad the day I was travelling to Iceland. All trains were cancelled, including mine. The wind went up to 40 meters/pr sec. at some places.

Forecast was for cloud, but there seemed to be a chance of bright spells. We waited patiently but didn't get them. Silvery light on almost calm sea made up for it though, and it it was good to hunt for attractive clusters of rocks.
