For months I've been wishing for a vacation home and visit one of my favorite beaches. I was counting the days and wishing that October was finally going to come. The moment finally arrived after months of waiting and I feel so blessed to see this amazing view =)

The vision for Pamper with a Purpose started in a closet 6 years ago and now it has developed into an event that last year alone served over 70 inner city teens with the help of 90 volunteers. Totaling 160 female bodies, 70 gift-cards, 50 personal shoppers/sorters, 11 hair professionals, 10 manicurists, 6 make-up artists, 3 eyebrow threaders, 2 professional photographers, 10 Young Life leaders, 1 Savior!
We believe our Urban Young Life students deserve to be pampered. They also have a right to know that they are loved, precious and valued.
Last year we were able to raise close to $3000. Every high school student receieved a $50 giftcard to brighten up her holiday. Will you help us raise that same amount??
This year the event will be held on Thurs Dec 4th at 6pm at the Mosaic Church in downtown San Diego. We need your help. Anything you can donate will be appreciated. We also need folks to help with gift cards, set-up, gently worn clothing/shoes, personal shopping, nails, make up, hair, food and etc. Please contact Luma Haddad, YL South Bay Area Director if interested in any of the above.

The Seikosha appears to be a copy of the Longines Pocket Watch with integrated stop watch and replaces the Berna models that were used with the earlier serial numbers of the gun camera (until about sn#5,200; i.e. late 1941). For a while both Berna and Seiskosha models seem to have been fitted, and from mid 1942 onwards only Seikosha units. Based on recorded production dates for the Type 89 machine gun training camera (own dat), the camera for which this watch would have been fitted would have been produced in mid-1943.

I told her where she'd be able to find some, but also found out her mum knits in large ply cause of her fingers. So i thought i'd love to do one for Siena... just cause. she's too cute i can't resist.

For the sixth year in a row Airlie Gardens, in Wilmington, N.C., is excited to host their summer art exhibit, July 7th-October 28th 2018! Airlie Gardens has selected artists or teams of artists to decorate, paint, and otherwise adorn one of the 15 oversized 5-foot-tall fiberglass Garden Gnome models. These Garden Gnomes are placed throughout the grounds for guests to enjoy as part of their garden experience. The hope for this outdoor exhibit is it will be a collection that appeals to all. The artists' designs were selected based on creativity, craftsmanship, use of materials, the ability to appeal to all age groups, outdoor sustainability and durability. The exhibit is included in general garden admission and free for Airlie Members.

On Tuesday, May 7, 2019, EOP hosted a recognition reception for its graduating seniors. At the event students had the chance to to connect with their peers and they also received a commemorative EOP graduation sash, a small token from their "EOP family" to publicly acknowledge their hard work and dedication. This year marks the 50 years of the Educational Opportunity Program and we have commemorated this special occasion with our special edition “EOP 50 years” sash. The sash is a representation of not only the success of our students but the program’s 50 years of changing lives through continuous innovation. We can’t wait to see our graduating students wear it proudly during CSUN’s commencement ceremonies.
Attending the event were also former EOP students receiving their post graduate degree, who were honored with a medal.

On June 1-3, U.S. Embassy Jakarta hosted the first Komunitas Alumni Muda Indonesia (KAMI) Service Project Competition and Conference. The KAMI Service Project Competition and Conference was open exclusively to youth alumni that had participated in U.S. government-sponsored exchange programs. The alumni had participated in several different types of exchange programs, including the Study of the U.S. Institute (SUSI) for Student Leaders, the Indonesian Youth Leadership Program (IYLP), the ASEAN Young Leadership Program, and the Indonesian English Language Study Program (IESLP). Ghoulia is one of my two most favourite MH dolls. I love how sexy she looks. I haven´t done new dress for her for a long time. But still it is about 2 monthes I have sewn this dress. But I didn´t have any suitable shoes except her own boots. Yesterday suddenly I had an idea even I had a bad headache. I have made shoes from "Super dough" . I have known about it from Šavrda so thanks to her. They have to still dry, but I think it is good material for me for quick making shoes for her.

FOR SALE!! I'm finally going to list this bad boy for sale. It's HUGE and will have to be local pick up only of course. Lord only knows what it would take to ship this thing. But I need space and it's no longer my "taste" so it's time to go. I'll post more pics if anyone wants.

Over 50 youth from Albania, Greece, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Kosovo, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Slovenia came together to learn how art can influence advocacy to solve their burning societal issues. From comic strips, and data visualization to graffiti and stencils, they learn how to use different art techniques during the Art and Design for Advocacy training which took place in Ohrid, Macedonia from 22-28 June 2015.
