Before Starting this Write up for the Days Events I want to say a Huge Thank You to all of the Marshals at Brands Hatch for the work that you do as without you We would not be able to Witness the Amazing Racing that takes Place Here Every Year.
During the Events of Saturday A Marshal Was Tragically Killed in an Accident on the Circuit. My Thoughts and Prayers are with The Family of the Marshal as well as Everyone Involved in the Incident.
Lets Keep Working Hard to Make Racing Exciting but also to work on the Safety Aspect of Both Spectators and Marshals at Each Event.
It was Time for the BARC To make a Very Special Return to Brands Hatch for the Annual BARC Club Car Championship Races. The Grids were looking to be Full up with lots of Action across both the Saturday and Sunday with Qualifying and Racing.
Lets See who's up First and Who can Take their Vehicles around the very Fast and Highly Paced Indy Circuit.
Brit Car Endurance Championship/Endurance And Praga Categories (Qualifying)
First Up was the Brit Car Endurance Championship Featuring a whole range of different cars from the Ferrari 488 to the Praga R1T. Thease two Classes of cars ran together during Qualifying so lets see who managed to take Pole Position for the Race on Sunday.
In First Place was (Tim Gray Motorsport and the Pairing of Richard Wells and Alex Kapadia) In their Praga R1T with a Lap Time of 44.675 and a Top Speed of 97.33mph. An Amazing Effort by Richard and Alex to claim Pole Position and start on the Front Row for Tomorrow's Race.
In Second Place was (CW Performance and the Pairing of Christopher Wesemael and Richard Morris) in their Praga R1 with a Lap Time of 45.128 and a Top Speed of 96.36mph. Another Incredible Drive from The Pairing of Christopher and Richard Claiming Second Position and Being Very Close to First in that Qualifying Battle. Fantastic Work.
In Third Place was (Team Praga Three Lions and The Pairing of Ash Dibden and Angus Fender) in their Praga R1 with a Lap Time of 45.365 and A Top Speed of 95.85mph. Very Close to Second Place Indeed with First, Second and Third place being a very hard Fought Battle for Positions. Fantastic work Ash and Angus.
A Very Exciting start to the Weekend with a Thrilling Qualifying Session and no doubt a Race to look forward to on the Sunday. Who will prevail and take the Checkered Flag? Only Time will tell.

Next Up was the Edmundson Electrical Classics and The Historic Thunder Saloons as they Headed out for their Qualifying Session and with a Vast Grid of Historic Cars Such as Vauxhalls Fords and BMW'S this looks to be Another Spectacular Qualifying Session for the History Books.
Lets take a look and see who managed to get Pole Position and How Quickly they Managed to do it in.
In First Place was (Jason West) in his BMW E46 M3 3200 with a Lap Time of 50.576 and A Top Speed of 85.98mph. Very Fast Driving from Jason and a Fantastic Effort to achieve Pole Position for the Start of The Race.
In Second Place was (Mike Saunders) in his Ford MK1 Escort Mexico 4700 with a Lap Time of 51.100 and A Top Speed of 85.09mph. Another Fast and Well Controlled Lap from Mike to put himself into Second Place after a very Quick and Brave Drive.
In Third Place was (Andrew Wilson) in his Holden Monaro 7000 with a Lap Time of 51.282 and A Top Speed of 84.79mph. Fantastic Driving from Andrew to Achieve Third Place.
A Very Wonderful Qualifying Session for the CTCRC Edmundson Electrical Classic/Historic Thunder Saloons with Three Very Quick and Eager Drivers all wanting to be First but at the End of the Day their can only be One Winner. Who will it be? Only time will tell.

In Third Place was (Colin Philpott) in his Jaguar XJS 4000 with a Lap Time of 55.165 and A Top Speed of 79.27mph. Still Keeping very Close to Steven in Second Place and Rightfully Defending that Third Spot on the Grid. Amazing Drive from Colin.

In First Place and Taking the First Win of the Weekend was (MALCOLM HARDING) in his Ford Escort MK2 Zakspeed 2500 with a Lap Time of 54.028 and a Top Speed of 80.48mph. Amazing Drive There Malcolm and Congratulations on Your First Victory.
In Second Place was (STEVEN GOLDSMITH) in his Ford Anglia 105e 2600 with a Lap Time of 54.645 and A Top Speed of 79.57mph. Incredible Drive there Steve with a lot of Determination and a Very Brave Nerve to take Second Place.
In Third Place was (COLIN PHILPOT) in his Jaguar XJS 4000 with a Lap Time of 55.295 and a Top Speed of 78.64mph. Well Done Colin A Well Deserved Third Place and an Amazing Drive for Third Place.
What A Race from the Saloon and GT Championship and with Another Race to Come on Sunday More High Speed Action can be expected then.

Next Up onto the Circuit was the Pre 03 and Pre 93 Touring Cars for their Qualifying Session and with some Fantastic Cars on the Gird it will be Interesting to see who Can take Pole Position and become the Victor of this Qualifying Session.
In First Place was (Gary Prebble) in his Honda Civic EG 2000 with a Lap Time of 52.971 and A Top Speed of 82.09mph. Fast and Committed rom Gary and a Beautifully Prepared Honda too. Well Done.
In Second Place was (AJ Owen) in his Honda Civic Type R 2000 with a Lap Time of 53.153 and A Top Speed of 81.81mph. Another Fantastic Drive from AJ Showing the Power of the Honda Engine and what it can do in the right hands.

For the past couple of years I have been making images in the Lewis Ocean Bay Heritage Preserve in Horry County, South Carolina. The property is managed by the SC chapter of the Nature Conservancy.
This amazing preserve is comprised of a mysterious geological formation called a Carolina Bay. These bays harbor an amazing array of plant-life including the federally endangered Venus' Fly Trap. Finding the carnivorous plant growing in the wild was a life-long dream for me and when I did discover a small group in the preserve I puzzled over how I might do the plant justice; there were already so many 'scientific' images out there. I decided to photograph the plant with a very shallow depth-of-field to emphasize the colors of this small individual and create the impression of a watercolor wash.

The Santa Fe Film Festival held their 10-day event as both in-person and online featuring 168 films from 36 countries with screenings, panels and after-parties at the Jean Cocteau Cinema, Center for Contemporary Arts, The Scottish Rite Masonic Temple and the La Fonda on the Plaza. A special screening event was held in honor of Black History Month at Albuquerque’s Nexus Smokehouse Blue Brewery with a screening of “One Pint at a Time” which focused on Black-owned breweries.
New this year were the inaugural Casting Society’s ‘Casting Director Awards’ awarded to a feature and short film.

For the 100th day since the start of the student strike in Quebec about a quarter million people took the street of Montreal.
In open disregard for the law 78, the demonstrators did not follow the itinerary given to the police. Since its implementation on Friday by the Quebec provincial government under Jean Charest, this "special law" threw oil on the fire by declaring any spontaneous gathering of over 50 people illegal.
This protest is already described as the single biggest act of civil disobedience in Canada's history.
This law meant to stop the nightly protests that have been taking place every single nights 28 times on the row. Today about 250,000 people openly broke Jean Charest's (Quebec's PM) "special law", chanting "ta loi speciale on s'en câlisse" ("we don't care about your special law").
Hundreds of marchers were also disguised to protest against the new municipal amendment P-6 that passed on Friday also, which prohibits protesters from wearing masks in Montreal.
Even though the police forces declared the demonstration illegal no violence was reported. All major unions joined the student strike making Tuesday 22nd of May seem like a vacation in Montreal. The protestors ended in the Parc Lafontaine.

The history of the Swiss Guards has its origins in the 15th century. Pope Sixtus IV (1471-1484) already made a previous alliance with the Swiss Confederation and built barracks in Via Pellegrino after foreseeing the possibility of recruiting Swiss mercenaries. The pact was renewed by Innocent VIII (1484-1492) in order to use them against the Duke of Milan. Alexander VI (1492-1503) later actually used the Swiss mercenaries during their alliance with the King of France. During the time of the Borgias, however, the Italian Wars began in which the Swiss mercenaries were a fixture in the front lines among the warring factions, sometimes for France and sometimes for the Holy See or the Holy Roman Empire. And now, the second set I made like a delicacy for Chrissy, largely inspired by "Snow White" after she ask me "something in pink and turquoise"...
This set is composed of
- A large pettitcoat with eight layers of tulle fabric, in a mix of baby pink, salmon and ivory, held on edge by silk ribbon embroidered flowers garland
- a dress in cotton voile fabric in shade of turquoise, the wintergreen skirt is cut in a swiss dotted voile, the turquoise bodice with boning and beads, special sleeves, lace collar encircled by a bouble row of silk ribbon, emlbroidered flower as jewel on the chest
- A medium bow in pink washed silk fabric
This outfit is worn by my Custom Lounging Lovely Blythe doll called "Cassis"

It always warms my heart when they light Baltimore's Washington Monument during the holidays. This is the neighborhood where my brother and I grew up, and I always wanted to capture this historic site in my own way. There must be tens of thousands of shots of this monument from many different photographers.
As for the technical stuff, I started off grabbing some 5-10 minutes exposures, but the traffic wasn't so busy on my side of the street. I wanted the church in the shot, but the other side of the street had more traffic (and more pretty light streams). Even though it was cold, I waited around til about 5:30 when the traffic was at its busiest. Thirty-second exposures seemed to be working better as well, and everything came together right before my ears froze.

In February 2016, Tropical Cyclone Winston devastated Fiji. To respond to this disaster, UN Women adapted its existing Markets for Change project to help farmers and vendors get back on their feet. Domenica 21 maggio, circa 60mila persone si sono ritrovate a Circo Massimo per partecipare alla 18ª edizione della "Race for the cure", corsa organizzata dalla "Susan G. Komen", organizzazione senza scopo di lucro che da anni svolge importanti opere di solidarietà e si batte per la lotta ai tumori al seno.
L'evento iniziato il 19 maggio, si è concluso 3 giorni dopo con la tradizionale corsa di 5 km e la passeggiata di 2 km percorrendo alcune delle vie più belle di Roma.

För nionde gången arrangerade vi den 20 sep Barnsjukhusets dag på Liseberg där vi byter ut sjukhusmiljö, påfrestande känslor och operationer mot karuseller, lek och glädje. Vi är oerhört tacksamma över vårt samarbete med Liseberg som bjuder på inträde till cirka 750 familjer med tillhörande 1600 åkpass till patienter och deras syskon. Detta är också en dag där drömmar förverkligas genom att barnen får autografer och ta selfies med sina stora idoler, som i år bestod av Pia Sundhage, Jakob Karlberg, Ida Lafontaine, Lisa Ajax, Jennie Johansson, Benn Harradine, Thed Björk, Odain Rose, Emma Green och Johan Glans!
En liten kille, han stod och pussade på sitt autografblock och gled sedan iväg som en liten sol ut mot nöjesparken. Han var det perfekta kvittot på att lyckan nått fram!
Ett varmt tack till Liseberg, idoler och volontärer! Tillsammans skapar vi läkande skratt och positiva stunder hos barn som går igenom tuffa tider på Drottning Silvias barn- och ungdomssjukhus.

Here the gown set I made with lyricism for Chrissy. I let me inspired by Renaissance style and Shakespeare design.
This set is composed of
- a long skirt in pink silk chiffon fully lined with pale pink cotton, edged at bottom with tiny embroideries
-a long gown in Soft Bronze dupioni silk, with a boning bodice and special sleeves, all edged with embroideries and assorted beads
- a short beaded shawl in a gold metalic teal brocade
This outfit is worn by my factory blythe called "Ondine"
