After a natural catastrophe pitted the most fearsome warriors against one another in a fight for resources and territory, the bloodthirsty warlord Apollyon believes the people of the Knights, Vikings, and Samurai have grown weak and want to create an age of all-out war through manipulation of each faction. To this end the perspectives of characters within each faction are shown as events are shaped, battles are waged, and agendas are created as Apollyon works to ensure continuous sparks of conflict between the Legion, the Warborn, and the Chosen from the Myre.
El Foro – Conferencia “Trata de personas: Un desafío para el desarrollo”.
Presentó distintas perspectivas y enfoques en el trabajo en contra de la trata de personas. Para ello se invitó a la Parlamentaria Hilaria Supa a ser parte del grupo organizador de esta actividad y también a ser parte de la mesa. El panelista principal, como representante de la sociedad civil, fue al Sr. Ricardo Valdéz (Presidente de Capital Humano Social Alternativo – CHS), lo acompañó, representante de la Iglesia, Monseñor Daniel Thomas Turney (Obispo de Chulucanas y Presidente de la Pastoral de Movilidad Humana).
La presentación del Sr. Ricardo Valdéz inició su exposición señalando el desafío de los estados en alcanzar un desarrollo integral de las personas que lo conforman. El caso peruano está atravesando por un aparente auge económico, pues las inversiones en industrias extractivas (minería, petroleras e hidroeléctricas) son las principales generadoras de riquezas en el país. Sin embargo, el enfoque de desarrollo que se está teniendo en la actualidad no puede invisibilizar las dinámicas sociales que este enfoque está generando, pues no solo afectan al medio ambiente, como las demandas en la revisión de proyectos extractivistas lo señalan. Las dinámicas sociales que se generan en los espacios en los que se centra la empresa extractiva, en el caso de la trata: la minería, son en muchos casos zonas de frontera, sobre todo en la amazonía. También, se señaló que las estadísticas de denuncias sobre trata no corresponden

Street Artist Shepard Fairey and his team have been hard at work completing their largest ever mural on the walls of a West Hollywood library parking structure. The 105' x 67' foot mural was a huge undertaking for the Fairey team, and stands as a testament to the importance of Fairey in the art world and the skill of his hardworking crew. Artists RETNA and Kenny Scharf also brought their time and talent to the project which was curated by the intrepid minds at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) Los Angeles. Warholian's own Birdman was there to catch the action, and gave us a view of the project from his own perspective.

These photos and videos show the 115 volunteers hard at work in Bread and Cheese Creek in the Merritt Boulevard area between Merritt Boulevard and Willow Road on 4/14/12 (Our original goal was Plainfield Road by our incredible volunteers wet way beyond that goal.
Together we cut up and moved 3 fallen trees blocking the stream, we removed thirty yards of trash and debris, on twenty yards of metal metal (which included 7 shopping carts, a lawn mower, and engine head and the bumper from a 1972 Chevelle), 7 tires, 5 cans of paint 2 bicycles, a couch, a bowling ball and an office chair.
All left over donated food is re-donated to the local food kitchen "Staint Rita's Table" which hosts dinners for Dundalk's needy and homeless every Monday evening.

For our day in port at Skagway, Alaska, Mike and I booked a White Pass Scenic Railway excursion. The roundtrip journey was over 40 miles and passed some gorgeous vistas along the way. I took this shot from the viewing platform at the front of our passenger coach during the return journey from White Pass Summit as our train crossed a bridge near Denver Station (Mile 5.8), passing over the east fork of the Skagway River.
OSKAR ALEGRIA the Director of the film SEARCH FOR EMAK BAKIA is a big fan of MAN RAY, hence, his movie trying to find the house MAN RAY filmed his early movies. The movie was a tad surreal with a touch of dadaism and plenty of poetic charm. EMAK BAKIA is the name of the house along the Basque coast. Many houses in Europe are given names by their owners. EMAK BAKIA means "leave me alone" which legend has it, a contractor told off the owner, a Romanian Prince. ADDA told the OSKAR , the director, that I have a MAN RAY print, which totally enchanted the filmmaker. "MAN RAY loved painting, sculpture, & printing even more than his well known photography.", said OSKAR. I sent him a photo of the print along with this FB one. I have a feeling our paths may cross again....
Out for the day at the Mormon Rocks in the Cajon Pass. Tons of trains, and nice weather for the first time in a LONG time. It was almost cold.
