Stewart's has moved out of Hammonton. A landmark for many years, they did great on weekends with the 'going home from the shore' crowd.

I don't know what it's fate is. It may reopen as something else.

Ahhhhh Wondercon, it's been 30 years in the waiting for me. I love art, but comic books are what really turned me onto the worlds made of pen, ink, and fantasy. I guess in a way you could say comic books were my "gateway drug" to fine art.

It's been many years since I have been an avid comic book reader, probably 10 or more. Sure I pick up a graphic novel from time to time, but honestly folks, I'm totally out of the loop. Wondercon (held annually in San Francisco, CA) has EVERYTHING that your deviant heart may desire. This year was the 25th anniversary of the event, and the fanboy and fangirls came out in droves. In fact, the Saturday event date completely sold out and I'm told that the convention floor was an utter madhouse.

For more than 600 years, the roofs of Prague Castle have been overlooked by the towers of St Vitus Cathedral. The cathedral, whose original name is St Vitus, St Wenceslas and St Adalbert Cathedral, is the biggest and the most important church in the Czech Republic. It’s the seat of the Archbishop of Prague and the place where saints, kings, princes and pmperors of Bohemia are buried. The coronations of the kings of Bohemia were held there until 1836. It’s one of the best examples of Gothic architecture

Let me introduce you my new outfit made with ingenuousness for Sophia. She desired an "Sailor" dress set.

Regarding the colors, I did a study around the tones of an old doll whose the atmosphere is a very soft sailor witch I love a lot.

So a base of ivory and blue-gray with a touch of tonic red.

This set consists of a dress, an overskirt, removable collar and stockings.

- The dress is cut in a lined fabric and trimmed with lace and ribbon at the bottom.

- For the stockings and the dress's breastplate, I painted myself red stripes on an ivory fabric to give an old craft touch.

- The removable sailor collar finished by a small red bow, edged with fine aqua silk ribbon

I also want to introduce you one of my new dolls customized by me during the past months.

Her name is "My Bloomy" because she's very inspired by Bloomy Bloomsbury, one of my favorite Blythe.

She is a FBL original Takara Blythe "Prima Dolly Tokyo", I bought her second hand to be customized for me.

Work done:

· Carving of her nose, lips and philtrum

· New full makeup made with artist Extra Soft Pastels "à l'écu" from Sennelier and sealed with several layers of MSC

· Tiny freckles

· Sleepy eyes

· Gaze corrected

· New lashes

· Eyelids painted with artist Extra Soft Pastels "à l'écu" from Sennelier

· Four new pairs of eye chips hand painted by me using professional Golden iridescent fluid acrylics. Blue(right), Dark red (center), Pink (left), Dark green (center)

· Full reroot using locked loop method with Katsilk 83 Glitter saran, a lovely mixture of two light brown

Hoorah! Anniedollz little rainbow girl here is finally done and I just had time today to do some photoshoot of her. And, everyone knows how gorgeous Anniedollz custom dolls are and so, I'm stoked about making a CaramelPOP just for her!

Annie wanted to provide her own handmade outfit and wig (Yes that amazing rainbow rose skirt is made by Annie herself!) so my mission would be including some of her favourite elements. Chihuahua being one of the most unusual request she had. :)

I'll be sending her off to her mommy sometime this week. I hope you like her Annie! ^_^

For quite a while, Winnie the Pooh used to meet guests in the Magic Kingdom with a honey pot on his head. This was sort of amusing, but somehow his face had a bit of a demonic look to it, so I can understand why he might've wanted to update his appearance over the years.

This photo is from my first visit to Disney World in February, 1979, back when characters would just stand out on the street to meet guests (long before dedicated queues were required).

I just enjoy people watching on the southbank. Kinda not sure about this shot, but there is something about the interplay of the two people. And I like that his t-shirt looks like it has a great big red heart on it.

We can't move the normal homes, so let's try selling these... can't get a loan for your expensive home? we do have some lovely doghouses. Cozy... rustic... meadow view... convenient access to the outdoors...

Let me introduce you my new outfit made with reverie for Alicia. She want something around my Little Red Riding Hood... So I plan to make a new variation of this theme, with a lot of assorted machine embroideries by combining some designs.

This set include a dress, a corseted over-dress, removable puffed sleeves, a jacket, a petticoat and socks.

Here, you can see the whole set.

- The short jacket with basque sewn in eucaliptus shot cotton with red satin stitch on edge, and a red swiss dotted cape collar.

- The corseted over-dress, fully lined, cut in a wonderful dark shot cotton "Moor" (weaving of burgundy and emerald green threads). These piece is edged by an assortment of embroidery, trims and lace. Tiny gold eyelets and a satin ribbon lacing make the back closure.

- The apron made of antique lace lined with cotton muslin, also trimmed with tiny flowers on a scalloped spring green ribbon. A row of teal Miyuki beads highlights the top of the waistband.

- The dress made of antique white Dimity cotton fabric. All edges were trimmed with small floral embroidery and the front buttonholes band is enhanced with lace and gold metal tiny beads.

- The petticoat made of cotton muslin edged and adorned by airy french lace and red ribbon.

- The assorted embroidery socks.

I take this opportunity to introduce you an other of my new dolls customized by me during the past months.

Her name is "My Alice".

I used a FBL Ambrosial Blythe with a Jenna scalp I bought especially to become Alice.

This was my spare camera as my D200 is broken and I didn't realize I could have shot the Leica. Since my D70 L bracket is on loan, the flash was handheld which made AF, flash, nearly everything inconsistent.

For the first time I can see what it looked like where my dad worked.

For over 20 months Greece's second largest city has been threatening to close down town's only refugee reception centre. For 20 months the 15 families in residence have survived due to the efforts of local volunteer groups who have been paying for the centre's bills and the families food supply. The Greek ministry of health and the local Thessaloniki city council have refused to support the enterprise even though it was set up by them to deal with Greece's refugee crisis.

However, even that indifference as been replaced by active attempts by the local authorities to evict the familes with no thought given to the future of those people. With the Greek economy in dire straits and the .local police department stepping up harassment of immigrants those inside the reception centre face the prospect of being kicked out into the streets and then with no permanent address, deported.

The residents along with local supporters decided to stage a small protest march fromthe centre to the local ministry building, a move which threw thr riot squad protecting it into action. Immediately the central gates were closed and police took up position in case the eight year olds present made an attmept to topple the government. As a result negotiations between the officers in charge and representative who wanted to present their case to the local politicans had to be conducted through the bars ofthe padlocked gate.

For some reason I had a lot of trouble using plastic glue to assemble this model. It seemed to dissolve the plastic without forming any kind of bond. So unusually for a plastic kit, I largely used superglue to assemble it.

Japanese artist Ryoji Ikeda’s film test pattern is reimagined for the Times Square billboards, Oct. 1-31. From 11:57pm to midnight each night, digital screens will be taken over by tightly synchronized, flickering black-and-white imagery mining data for mathematical beauty as part of Midnight Moment.

At a special event on October 16, sound was incorporated into the Midnight Moment for the first time. Headphones were made available to the public on a first-come/first-served basis to view the work as a fully immersive experience.

Midnight Moment is a presentation of the Times Square Advertising Coalition (TSAC) and Times Square Arts. Midnight Moment: A Digital Gallery is the largest coordinated effort in history by the sign operators in Times Square to display synchronized, cutting-edge creative content at the same time every day. October's presentation is in partnership with the French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF)’s Crossing the Line festival and The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
