Every float has a float supervisor. The super is the person in charge of pretty much everything. He (or she) decides which volunteers will do which jobs. He also decides the order in which to decorate everything. The super also works closely with the head florist to determine the exact technique and materials to achieve the look they want. A good super is the difference between a crappy float and a breathtaking one. Larry W. has been our super for many years except that dark year with Tim where we didn't win anything.

Enjoy this photo of our No Kings 3 rally at Tam Junction in Mill Valley, CA, where hundreds of Marin citizens gathered on March 28, 2026, to protest Trump’s abuses of power. We inspired each other to fight for democracy — and engaged hundreds of riders cheering us on and honking for freedom on their way to the beach.
Our Stop Trump float and Earth Bike were a big hit! They were created by Fabrice Florin, with signage by Phyllis Florin. We waved our signs, chanted slogans, sang No Kings anthems — and connected with each other to build a stronger community of engaged citizens in Marin.
Pastor Floyd Thompkins of Marin City gave a rousing speech, reminding us that “we are Americans” and that we have a duty to protest, vote — and stand up for each other against Trump’s attacks. “If you don’t stand now, when are you going to stand?”
No Kings 3 was a major step towards taking back our country this year! Thanks to all of you who showed up, along with over 8 million Americans across the USA and the world, to protest Trump’s war in Iran, ICE attacks on our neighbors and other Republican abuses of power.
Community action is our most powerful antidote against the dark forces that threaten us. Keep speaking up this year, and join your neighbors to get out the vote— all the way to Election Day. If we build on this wave of energy and stay focused, we can win the midterms by a landslide — and defeat the autocratic MAGA regime!
No Kings! No War! No ICE! Stop Trump! Power to the people!
