The frog kept moving and this really annoying girl kept singing.... the float was cool, except for the singing.

February 1956. Tampa, Fl. Tampa Gasparilla Parade. The festival celebrates the apocryphal legend of José Gaspar (Gasparilla), a mythical Spanish pirate captain who supposedly operated in Southwest Florida.

These are the floats that about 50 men carry with 4 women on top. There is also a real fire on top of the float and the people on the side of the road throw water to try to put out the fire. So the people carrying the floats get soaked and are shouting and having a blast. They also have men behind them carrying coolers of beer and stop at the groups of drummers to rest and drink beer. Quite the spectacle!

I forgot to clean the sink first, but just checking the floating ability and for any leaks on this boat camera mount. So far, so good. I have to paint the vessel. I don't actually have the camera inside the houseing that is shown in this pic. I need to do that in finding out the best location on the float boat to mount the camera mount.
