honestly. look at it. it was a float extolling prayer in schools, and no one looked thrilled at being on it.
This is one of the four famous yatai or festival floats, displayed at the Takayama Yatai Kaikan (Festival Floats Exhibition Hall).
The yatai, some of which date from the 17th century, are spectacular creations with flamboyant carvings, metalwork and lacquerwork.
The hall is 800 yen to enter and is open from 8am to 5pm.
My wife and I were invited to spend a few days in St. Augustine as well as go deep sea fishing. We had a wonderful time and even caught a few fish. Unfortunately several of our best catches were of protected fish that had to be released. We also hooked a few barracudas but alas, they cut the line and got away.

Traditional art ensembles and martial art displayed during the Onam Pageantry. Mobile Display Platforms (Floats) are more attractive in Onam Pageantry. Art and dance forms of different States and Districts and floats (Mobile Display Platforms) of various government, public sector institutions, co-operative institutions, local self-government institutions and private firms are participate in Onam Procession.
