These are most likely "floaters" formed inside larger agate chunks. The exteriors are dented from being surrounded by coarse quartz. Always sun fried. Being formed inside large agates. They have not bore the brunt of millions of years. Surface cracks are easily cut off. The yield is always highly botryoidal when backlit.
This is a float made with vanilla ice cream and stout. Interesting combination--good thing I like dark beer--that combines the smooth creaminess of ice cream with the bitterness of dark beer.
This float sponsored by United Blood Services and the Girl Scouts was entered in El Paso's first Day of Rememberance Parade held on Sunday 9/16/07. It was featured in Monday's El Paso Times' Borderland section.

No. 23 -SONICtower
Zulkifle Mahmod | Singapore
Location: The Float @ Marina Bay
SONICtower comprises four zones with a total of 320 solenoids and LED lights to create a rhythmic sound and light scape within the confines of the scaffolds. It invites visitors to listen and discover unique compositions as they explore different pockets of the artwork.
The installation is an expansion of “Alice, Did You Hear That?”, a sound installation commissioned for Singapore: Inside Out in 2015. It is inspired by ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and ‘Spaces speak, are you listening?’, a book by Barry Blesser and Linda-Ruth Salter, which explores soundscapes in the urban environment.
