The main float for Penang Wesak Day procession 2012, more than 70,000 flowers were used to decorate the float and decorated by some 50 members from The Penang Ohara Floral Art Society. They manage to finished decorating the float yesterday after beginning the arduous task on Thursday. Among the flowers used were Anthuriums, Chrysanthemums, Honeycomb flowers, orchids, Baby’s breath and more. MBA spent more than RM40,000 on the float decoration while the workmanship was voluntary.
The float plane seaport is busy with planes frequently landing and taking off among the cruise ships and boats and pleasure craft in Burrard Inlet.
Randomly came across the floats from the parade going down Mount Elliott near the Heidelberg Project.
