I love this flash. Metz, a German company, has been around as long as I can remember, and the quality has always been top-notch. In the era of analogue photography, every professional photographer owned a Metz.

They're fully compatible with all modern cameras, reliable, powerful, they often recycle faster than the 'originals' and - last but not least - are very affordable.

First and third generation versions of The New 52 Flash.

Attempting to see if I can get a good result from firing a flash through both an on-flash diffuser and a diffusion frame.

Just playing with flashes. Please don't mind the dust on the plant, will clean it next time and add water drops for effect

2 sb80dx on 1/8 power I think, on each side in home made striplights.

almost no pp besides putting the frames together and cropping the whole shebang

It's really hard to find a consistent logo for The Flash, so this might not be perfect. I don't know much about the character, but he seems to have the best logo so far. There are four colors charted, but if you want a red background that's a fifth.

If you would like the original (larger!) Excel file, send me a message with your email.

Macro of my husband's flashy Nikon Speedlight SB-800 camera flash. Both he and my son are concentrating on the high-tech end of cameras (Nikon D7000, NIkon D70 and Canon G9 with a plethora of big black machine-gun snouty lenses), while I am at the-low tech end of the scale with my iPhone camera.

Taken with iPhone 3GS using home-made macro lens.

Finally bought a flash for my m43 cameras. I have a bunch of Canon stuff but I’ve stopped using it now that I have the G3. Anywho poor Vo suffers again. After the last time I tested a flash on him he started to run off every time I pointed a camera at him.

Panasonic G3, Oly 45mm and new flash FL-36R. Flash bounced off the wall to Vo’s right.

He's somewhere near 20lbs. If you were wondering.

Poor dude is hiding under my desk from the furnace repair guy. Vo doesn't know where to hide since the sound is coming from the vents in every room.

*remotely triggers flash and takes a shot*

here's another sample taken with the Yongnuo yn460II flash. it really does have a remarkably different, and I guess more accurate color balance than I'm used to with flashes.

I've had this flash for years. It's not particularly good, but it's not particularly awful either. I'd forgotten about it until a friend asked me to take some pics of their kids, and I needed something I could bounce rather than use the 20D's built in.

Snapped this of my daughter, I guess she did not like the flash
